Atlantis waterpark with foot issues?

Went and tried on some Orthoheel thongs. They didn't have my size in other styles. They have strong arch and heel support. Not the most comfortable to me but I don't need a ton of support. Ended up buy some very cute (and expensive) sandals. I'll have the best dressed feet on the cruise. LOL

For my daughter's wedding, I finally broke down and bought a really expensive pair of dress shoes that are made for people with foot problems. It was SO worth it. I should have never wasted all the money I have trying to find "cheap" comfy shoes.

Are these shoes you actually wear in the waterparks or beachwear

I've also worn them into the water. Especially at places that are rocky (and the last time I was there, the entry at Castaway Cay was rocky) I keep them on. If I were to step on a rock barefoot, I'd be in pain for a week. I've even kept them on and gone swimming with them....when I couldn't toss them back onto the beach. Obviously it's not the easiest thing to do, swim with sandals on, but it's better than killing my feet when I get out.
The soles are also sturdy enough to wear around town, too.

Wow, lots of PF sufferers. I had this extremely painful condition for around 18 months, initially brought on by our first trip to Disney World and all the walking around!!

I tried everything, and it was my second steroid injection that finally seemed to do the trick, and I have been pain free for a year now (other than when I walk long distances).

I still live in my crocs, at one point they were the only thing I could wear, including to work! Never go barefoot, always have crocs on.

I'm so glad the steroid injection worked, as the surgery sounds horrific.
