Hi all. I was waiting for an Atlantis offer to come out, as we are doing the Disney cruise Nov 4-7, and currently have a Comfort suites reserved for the day (with Atlantis waterpark privileges) for $229. I thought to jump on this rate and actually book an Atlantis room instead! But of course, they are way ahead of us, and these rates are only good on 2 or more nights; darn it!! But, for anyone who would like to visit Atlantis the beach tower is 129 for Sun-Wed (?) and 159 for the other nights I think. It was a pretty good deal if you plan on visiting there. Here is the link (it is through travlezoo)

Hopefully soemone will find it useful...even though it won't work for me..sigh...

I am trying to find it useful! I saw the deal earlier and wanted to jump on it. Sadly, we are headed to Disneyland and not sure how I can fit Atlantis in during the same month.

If you are planning to be in FL anyway and can extend your stay a few days this would be a great deal. Flights from Tampa to the Bahamas can be found for real cheap, I have seen them for less than $39. Check out Spirit and Jet blue, these are the airlines I have seen the sales.

welll you do have to go through the travelzoo link, AND it has to be at least 2 nights. If you did both of those, maybe you have a blacked out date? I dont' think they would have sold out already...

What does a family of five do for lodging at Atlantis? Do you purchase adjoining rooms?
For a family of 5, Atlantis is much worse than Disney. ALL regular hotel rooms only allow 4 (5 if one traveler is 4 or under). Otherwise you're looking at two rooms or a very luxurious (and expensive) suite.

There's Harborside, a timeshare resort, but it is only a partial solution to the five issue. Renting a Harborside unit like a nightly hotel room can be pretty expensive, and you have to get the premium 1 BR unit to get access to Atlantis for 5.

And renting from an owner locks you in to a 7 night trip. Which is a nice amount of time, but you can fully enjoy Atlantis in 4.

So usually the best plan, if trying to stick to a budget, is getting two rooms in the cheaper towers.

Don't forget there's the Comfort Suites-Paradise Island with free breakfast each morning.
