atlantis resort day wrist bands

Are you able to purchase wrist bands only to use the water park at Atlantis? If so does anyone know how much they are per person?

The only wristbands that I know or heard of are those issued to those who are either renting a day room (or overnight room) at Atlantis or the Comfort Inn next door. I have been wondering if there is a separate admission for entry to the aquarium so it is available to everyone but I have come to accept that the pools with their great slides are for customers of the hotels.

Read on other posts that aquarium wristbands are about $25 each. To use pools, waterpark, etc., you must be a guest at Atlantis or Comfort Suites. Read of people booking day rooms for anyware from $160 to $250. Believe that is only for 4 persons at CS. If you have more, you would have to book another room or can perhaps go to Atlantis resort (costlier, but maybe not if you have more than 4).

I think it depends on when you want to go. We sailed during hurricane season and got a day room rate at Atlantis for $150. It provided us with a clean room to change, nap, etc. plus wristbands for five people for the entire resort. It was actually cheaper than the Comfort Su ites rate of $190 which would only include four people.

ksjayhawks is correct - there are wristbands you can buy that let you view the aquarium and walk around the grounds. We've done it twice and loved it. The grounds are beautiful and there are so many things to see.

If you want to get the writstbands (different color) that let you into the pools etc. you need to have a room either at Atlantis or Comfort Suites. Some people book these in advance, but I've also heard of some walking up and asking for a day rate.

We're just as happy to walk around for the morning and then go back to the ship in the afternoon so we've never explored getting a room.
