Atlantis question....

Mom and I are doing the 4/15 Wonder, and have decided to visit Atlantis. Mom is a bit leary of the taxis, so she would like to avoid them if possible. It it possible to get to Atlantis via boat or some other means? Is it possible to walk? How far away is Atlantis from the ship?

Atlantis is too far to walk to from the ship.

I assume you haven't booked Atlantis through DCL, but you could probably catch a water taxi. Booking with DCL was easy for us because you get the transportation included (boat).

Water taxi was fine. There was some significant walking from the dock to Atlantis.

Water taxis are available on the dock near the Straw Market to get you over to the Atlantis. You can not walk from the port. It is way too far!! The water taxi will take you over then you will have a short walk to the resort (about 10 min walk). Wear comfortable shoes!!!

If you take a chance on the taxis they will drop you off right at the front door of the Atlantis. Some of the taxi drivers are a little crazy!!! Then again, some of the boat skipper aren't a whole lot better!!! But the Atlantis is truly a beautiful place to see and it's not-to-be-missed!!

Take a taxi..only $4 per person I believe...very short trip, over the bridge.
