We will be on the Wonder Jan. 18-22. We booked a room at the Comfort Suites for Monday, the day we will be in the bahamas. I keep checking the weather. I think it is only going to be 75 degrees. Is that warm enough for the slides and pools. I have to cancel by Weds. if I am going to cancel. All recommendations are welcome.

Thanks!

We were on the exact same cruise last year and it was also chilly for us at Atlantis. It was rainy and a little cold but the kids were in the water without any trouble. I was wrapped in a towel in a chair watching. When the rain really started to come down they wanted to leave so we just walked around inside and looked at the fish.

IMO if you are worried about it at 75 degrees I'd cancel. :sad2: I have been to Atlantis with DCL and I have stayed at Atlantis seperately and the slides are fun but only for a couple of hours and being chilly is NOT worth the amount you pay to go! I'm not sure about this but if you cancel now you could probably get on the tour that day if you wanted, likely their would be open spots.

If you are just going to "see" Atlantis and walk around that would be one thing and cheaper but the slides and pools will loose their appeal about right after lunch. Rather save your money and the worrying and stay on the ship you'll have it to yourself!:cheer2:

A week away is still too early to be getting an accurate weather forecast but for me 75 degrees would be fine (I'm from the northeast).

We've been to Atlantis twice in early Dec, the first time it was mid to upper 80's, the second time I would guess high 70's, low 80's (only because it was a little overcast the second time, otherwise it would have been warmer). But I think the Bahamas can be a little more hit or miss in late January vs early December.

We did Atlantis back in Oct while aboard the Magic..(we got diverted due to a hurricane and ended up in Nassau). We were very dissappointed with Atlantis.:confused3 I guess, we expected it to be more grand...
Still a cool place to see at least once.

We were at Atlantis on Monday this week. It was overcast in the morning but still warm, upper 70s and humid. The water was heated to a very nice temperature, didn't mind getting right in even with the sun not really out. The day got even better as the sun came out more and we had a great time there for about 6 hours.
