Please read all of this to to understand the offer. We will be on the Wonder June 8th thru the 11th. On the 9th we port in Nassau. Our family really wanted to go to the pools of Atlantis for the day. Apparently, the only way to do this is to reserve a room for the night. I reserved a room at the Comfort Suites for $240.00. Reserving there allows you access to all of Atlantis. The only problem is that there are 5 of us and anyplace we have tried to book only allows 4 people. So I went ahead and reserved a room for my husband and children. I think it's a pretty good deal averaging out to $60.00 per person for the whole day's activities (have you seen the prices for the excursions?) Only this leaves me alone and without them all day unless...
I can find others who have already reserved a room or who are thinking of reserving a room and are wanting to save money by letting me pay them to add my name. You are charged the same amount for a room whether it's 2 people, 3 people or 4 people so you have no risk there. I was thinking we could meet the night before so you can see I'm not a crazy person, and the next day we could meet at the Comfort Suites or one of the Atlantis resorts (I would arrive with my family) and I could pay you at the check-in desk at the hotel before you give the names. I would not enter your room (remember my husband and children already have a room). This arrangement would save you money (because I will be paying you) and will also allow me to be with my family. Let me know if your interested.

I wish I could help you out but we are cruising April 23-27. Can you tell me how you made your ressies so you can use the Atlantis pools/slides? I have two grown children who want to go on the Atlantis slides they saw online - so I need to make reservations for them. (I'm paying for all my family's cruise/expenses.)

Hi! Well, I spent a lot of time looking into this and I found that the only way to obtain access to the pools is to book a room. If you book a room at the Comfort Suites across the street from Atlantis, you will have full access to all of Atlantis and for our dates, it was less expensive. The Comfort Suites appears to be the only hotel outside of Atlantis itself to offer this. I made several phone calls (even to Atlantis) to make sure there wasn't a "catch" in the offer. I was honest and told them our intentions were just to spend the day since this is just a port our cruise is visiting. The thing that stinks is that even though we're not even sleeping there, they will only accept 4 per room and allow 4 of us access without booking 2 rooms. I can't see spending another $240.00 for another room that we will not even be staying in just so one of us isn't left out. Apparently, neither Atlantis nor The Comfort Suites have any rooms that can accommodate 5 people. I searched the Internet for the lowest price and found that calling them directly was comparable and I felt safer booking with the hotel itself. So here I am, trying to find a way to join my family that won't cost us another $240.00. I hope you're able to go to Atlantis on your trip. From the information I have gathered, it should prove to be an awesome and unforgettable experience! Good luck!!
P.S.- would you mind posting a reply here when you return from your trip to let me know how everything went?

I feel for you and your situation. Seems like the hotels would make accommodations for you - I'm sure you are not the first family that has faced this problem. I wish so much that I was on the same cruise as you so I could help you out. Hopefully, someone will come through for you before you set sail.

Thanks for the information about Atlantis and Comfort Suites.

I will be happy to email you as to how our cruise went. I have save your message in my favorites.

I better go so I can finish my housecleaning. Got all our door signs finished today - there's about 150 of them. Do you think I over-did the door signs? Well, only 25 of them are personalized. The rest are designs (of Mickey mostly) that I cut out of construction paper and Home Depot paint thingies. I plan on sharing them with my 25 family members - only made personalized signs for my 10 immediate family members. I laminated everything and put some magnetic tape on the back of each. It was fun. I'm not sure what I'll work on next - probably finish the 8 personalized scrapbooks I made for my immediate family members.

I wish I could help you! We are doing the 3 night cruise and are doing the exact same thing as you are on the 3rd of June. We could have done this too! I have four in my family, and my best friend is going with us as well. She had to book a room by herself just to have access to Atlantis with my family, so I'm sure she would have loved to have someone else to share the cost with. Sorry!

It sounds like Pepsiontherocks is going to have an absolute blast on her cruise!! I wish I were cruising with you!! Disneypoor and I missed each other by only 5 days!! That stinks for both of us. I thank both for your response and support. This is the first site I have ever posted anything on. I was concerned people might think I was some sort of Internet creep. Your positive feedback gives me hope that this may all work out for us. Thanks again. I wish you the best of times on your trip!!

We booked a room at Comfort Suites last year and it worked out fine for using the Atlantis facilities. You could ask at the check in if they will give you a 5th wrist band for the pools, but you may not get it. The 5th person could spend time around the pools and sight-see, but could not use the pools or the slides. You must leave a credit card number when you check in as the drinks and food will have to be charged to your room. They do not accept cash or credit cards at the poolside restaurants. The slides are great, especially the ones off the pyramid! Have fun!
