Atlanta Airport Car Rental

Question for Atlanta travelers, are all car rental companies at an offsite location or are they in the terminal and you just need a shuttle, I am looking at Avis and National and Alamo

They are on airport property but you must shuttle to the cars for all rental car agenices in Atlanta.

Due to construction I would not recommend you pick up the car and come back for your family. Just lug everything onto the buses. (To find the buses follow the signs for ground transportation.)

I agree with CarolA. ATL is all torn up outside. They drop you further from the terminal now. You are better to take the shuttle. Some of the airlines have moved their check in counters too to make it easier when departing.

I am looking at Avis and Alamo for a minivan at this time. Any plusses or -?

I was a bit surprised as I have never used Hertz before but they have the best rates with AAA only $41 per night with minivan at ATL for March

Hertz is great in ATL. Shuttle bus is always waiting.
