We just got back from our 4 day trip last weekend... Here's our trip report!

Just DH & I (and my baby in utero :cloud9: ) so we took things really slow. We stayed at the Villas in the Wilderness Lodge - we had a studio room (3539) with a woods view facing the lake. The fridge/toaster/microwave in the room was great for my late night, mid night, and early morning food cravings :cutie:

We arrived on Jan 31st about 11pm. Got to the WL just in time to grab some food staples from the Mercantile before they closed (phew!) We checked in and chilled out until our luggage arrived (about 1:30am)

Day 1: Epcot - it was such a beautiful morning - and being we left frigid tempatures in Chicago the night before - we spent an extra long time eating breakfast on our balcony before heading out to Epcot about 11am.
~ Nemo Ride - no wait, it was very cute, but because I knew about the ending, it was a bit disappointing.
~ DH was starving so we started our eating tour of World Showcase:
~ Mexico - split a burrito - yum! and listened to the marriachi band
~ Germany - split a brat - double yum!
~ American Adventure - split a turkey leg (my 1st one - not as good as the previous stops - but still good!) and listened to the drum & fife band
~ France - split a ham & cheese quiche - delicious!
~ Japan - let our tummies rest while we listened to the drummers - very cool!
~ Canada - listened to the celtic/rock band for a while - looked like it was gonna rain, so we headed back to FutureWorld
~ The Land - can't do Soarin' becuase of being preggo - so we did the boat ride - started out great, but by the time we got into the greenhouses it was pouring rain and we couldn't hear a thing! The roof was leaking pretty significantly - which concerned us when we saw water pouring down on an electrical unit (hummm... sitting in a big metal boat in the water near wet electricity - scary!)
~ Circle of Life movie - it was still raining so we stayed for the movie. DH enjoyed it (his first time seeing it)
~ Innovations - we made a dash under an umbrella to Innovations, where I played a Cars video game while DH waited to try the Segway. DH really enjoyed this!
~ Rain was gone... time to start eating again! Went to Canada (about 5:30pm) for our ADR's. We each got the Cheese Soup and split the Prime Rib (which was plenty for us!), DH ate the potatoes and I ordered an extra side of spinach. It was delicious!!!
~ Le Celliur took a really long time, so when we got out about 7pm, I was done for the day. We took the long way back through the countries and split a funnel cake on the way :)

Day 2: Animal Kingdom
~ Festival of the Lion King - I've never seen it and it was wonderful! It's on our "must see" list from now on!
~ Walked over to Harambe for some fruit
~ Took the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch - had never done this either. Really enjoyed the rainforest listening experience
~ Time for lunch! Our favorite - Flame Tree BBQ pork sandwiches!
~ Took a quick walk through the Maharajah Jungle Trek
~ Headed over to Dinoland and got in line for the Nemo stage show. It was fantastic! LOVED IT!
~ Went over to Discovery Island and saw DH's must-see - It's Tough to Be a Bug.
~ Beat tired... headed back to the hotel for an early night's rest. Just ate a cheeseburger at roaring forks and then watched a movie in the room.

Day 3: MGM
~We started the day at Whispering Canyon for breakfast - our favorite!
~ Went to MGM and tried to see the Voyage of the Little Mermaid, but had to exit after waiting for quite a while due to "technical difficulties"
~ Did the walking tour of Narnia - loved the movie, was a little dissapointed with the exhibit
~ Went to see Indiana Jones - only to find out it was closed due to dance competitions being held there (DH has never seen it, so he was dissapointed)
~ Watched the Muppets movie
~ Had lunch at Pizza Planet
~ Watched Beauty & the Beast stage show (my favorite! can you tell?)
~ Went on the Great Movie Ride
~ Was able to get in to see the Little Mermaid, finally
So tired... being pregnant takes so much out of you! Grabbed a light bite at Territory Lounge (I got the chilli nachos, DH got the flatbread w/ pork - delicious!)

Day 4: Magic Kingdom
~ Started with Buzz Lightyear (no wait)
~ Tomorrowland Tranist Authority
~ Hot Chocolate at Mrs Potts! (it was a bit chilly that day!)
~ It's a Small World
~ Peter Pan
~ Tried to do Pirates, but they were closed for Technical Difficulty
~ Ate lunch at Pecos Bills (I think?) had huge chicken ceasar wraps - yum!
~ Checked on Pirates again - no luck
~ Picked up a fast pass for the Jungle Cruise (60 minute stand by wait!)
~ Rode the train from Main Street all the way around and then got off in Adventureland
~ Rode the Jungle Cruise (the boat driver YELLED in my ear - I had a headache for the rest of the afternoon - not cool when I'm not allowed to take Advil!)
~ Yay! Pirates is open!!! Rode it to see Jack!
~ Spent a little time in the main street shops
~ Left the park at 3:30 to catch the 4:30 Magical Express bus back to the airport

It was a fun trip! Knowing I was pregnant, we had planned to mostly do the shows this trip - it was great becuase we usually don't make time for them.

We really enjoyed everything and I gained 3 pounds! :rolleyes1

you did alot for having to take it easy......fantastic trip.......thanks for reminding me I LOVE Le Cellier and can hardly wait for my next cheddar cheese soup and prime rib.delicious........thanks again for your trip report and best wishes on your new arrival

Great trip report! We'll be there in a couple of weeks and I'll be between 8 and 9 weeks pregnant. Can I ask why you didn't ride Soarin? When I was there in December, I specifically looked to see if "expectant mother should not ride" and there was no warning. The reason I was so concerned is because I was hoping to be pregnant before our trip in 2 weeks and it's my favorite ride. Did someone tell you that you shouldn't ride?

DH wouldn't let me go on it. It's one of my new favorites too - but he thought one of the dips would be too much. There are warning signs for the ride, but I don't remember if this one had any related to expectant mothers.

Regardless, we had a miscarriage last summer, so we decided to err on the side of caution.

Hope you enjoy your trip as much as we did! It was really warm the first day - so make sure you drink lots of water. We ordered the case of water from Staples.com ($6.99 + free shipping with the Staples rewards card). A lot cheaper than the $2/bottle in the parks!
