Just thought I would mention that we saw some good rates with ATA today for our trip to WDW and our 3 day Disney Cruise in September. We got round trip from Indianapolis (non-stop) for $136.50 each. We thought that was pretty good.

Wanted to pass this along in case anyone else is pricing airfare for that time frame. We were going to drive, but decided that for this rate we could afford the airfare. So this will be our first time flying since all the new regulations have come in place. I hope it isn't too awful (I hate flying).

At the risk of sounding stupid - what airline is ATA? \
We are going on the Magic Sept 20th from New Hampshire - I would like to check their rates. Thanks

I think they're called "America Trans Air," or something like that. They seem to have pretty competitive prices. I've never flown with them, and would be interested to hear the experiences of anyone who has.

I gave it a shot for our November cruise, but they aren't booking that far out yet.

I am going to keep looking and waiting.

Last year we went in October and I booked in July and paid $118.00 per person. I'll probably never find that again, but I can wait longer than this.

patience is a virtue...patience is a virtue...patience is a virtue

If I say it enough, I'll believe it.

We flew ATA for both of our trips. Feb 2000 and Nov 2002. We booked 4 weeks prior to our trip out of Midway(Chicago). We paid 229.00 per person. I just checked ATA.com and our round trip for our Nov 29 sailing is 285.00 per person right now. Maybe I should consider driving to Indy???

I just checked ATA, from Boston, for a trip we may take to Orlando in August....... very high price - $293 each!! That's as high, or higher, than we would pay in the Winter (booked a couple of months in advance). Plus...... they were only offering connecting flights through Chicago -- about 7 hours flying time.I think I'll stick with Delta, or the new Song Airlines (formerly Delta Express)..... cheaper and I can be there in 3 1/2 hours.

We love ATA and fly them all the time out of Midway in Chicago. You can find full details in many of our trip reports on www.castawayclub.com
They have nice new 737-800 and 757-300 aircraft, and we have had great luck with their being on time.
