Not sure if stopping service there completely, but in April will no longer offer many flights to either of these destinations from Midway airport. Major bummer for us. Fortunately, a few months ago Southwest added Ft. Myers to their route...(obviously they knew what was up w/ ATA) My mom has a credit on ATA and flies out of Ft. Myers (RSW)...She is not healthy enough to fly in the immediate futeur...maybe they will let her transfer the credit to another family member? :confused3 I will have to look into it.
Anyway, if you were planning to travel on ATA...it may not be happening this summer.

We were burned by ATA once already, so we didn't book any MDW/MCO flights on them when they restarted their service. Obviously a good choice! SW gave them a major infusion of cash, so they definitely coordinate their plans.

Call them about the credit and they may be willing to help. We had several free flights that we earned but couldn't use, so we turned them over to a friend who flies to CA. She had to cancel on abruptly due to a death in the family, and ATA was great about letting her reschedule it.

We used to fly ATA out of Indy. After they declared bankruptcy they initially cut their flight schedule and now they are ceasing all flights to/from Indy. I think it's effective next month.

We enjoyed flying on ATA and were sad to see the changes.
