At what age do you stop giving Easter Baskets?

My older two said they didn't want Easter Baskets this year but would I please still give them candy! :rotfl2:

Did you stop at a certain age with your kids if you do Easter Baskets in your house?

Dawn

I did stop for awhile when they proclaimed to be staunchly atheist a few yrs ago. But like your kids they still want the candy.

This yr. I think I am going to make them up a basket for fun. They are 20 & 14 now and have soften up a bit.:goodvibes

I am 40 and my Mom still gives me a basket! :)

My kids are 14 and 12 and I still give them one each year. My son doesn't eat chocolate though, so he is getting an Xbox game, bag of Chex Mix (his favorite), Fruit by the Foot and some Swedish Fish. My daughter is getting an Xbox game, M&M's, Peeps and Starburst :)

:thumbsup2 Yeah, that is why I was surprised when they said it. I think they just mean they don't want the cute grass and stuffed eggs, but they will get them anyway if they wish to have candy!

I was curious if anyone did have an age where they stopped.

Dawn

I haven't put grass in DS16 and DD13 baskets in 5 years. According to DS it took up to much room and was a pain to dig the small candy out of. Now they just get more candy.

I doubt we'll ever stop. Maybe when they have kids, we might.
