At what age do you stop giving Easter Baskets?

We stopped - probably around age 12. It just wasn't important to anyone so we stopped. My family growing up did the same, stopped when no one really cared about it. We've got so much other stuff going on at Easter that it wasn't missed.

My dh and I still do easter baskets for our dd and now our SIL, lol.
But this year they are on diets and asked us to put fruit in their baskets instead of candy :)

I've never had a request to stop. I have been told that I missed it some years. :scared: But I do have a basket that I have in the living room. Just put grass in it, some eggs, and some candy. The candy disappears. :)

I am 26 and I still get Easter Baskets from my mom and Grandma. My mom usually gives me a bottle of my favorite bath and body works bodywash, a dvd or cd I want and a small chocolate rabbit. My Grandma already gave me part of mine as she ordered me a Kate Middleton Ring and wanted to make sure it fit.

I also make Easter Baskets for them as well.

My older two said they didn't want Easter Baskets this year but would I please still give them candy! :rotfl2:

Did you stop at a certain age with your kids if you do Easter Baskets in your house?

Dawn

We don't stop and neither did my parents. If you still live here you get a basket! I'm pretty sure thats why they stay.:lmao::rotfl:

Haven't stopped yet and they are away at school. If they can't come home we send them.

I stopped a few years ago and just give them all a card with money inside.

I'm 19 and I still get an Easter basket from both my mom and my dad. hopefully I'll never stop getting one- I would be really upset

NEVER! We love Easter baskets. Except that we don't have baskets, we have gift bags. I use them from year to year and they fold flat for storage. I put a little grass in the bottom, a few peeps, a Cadbury egg or two, some jelly beans.a chocolate bunny and some gum. Voila! Easter baskets!

Mine are 11 and 15, and they still get the baskets. In fact, they are soft bunny baskets with their names on them that they have had since their first Easters. They really don't have a say in when it stops. It stops when I get tired of unpacking them from the basement.

I don't go crazy with Easter stuff....just some candy, and maybe something random, but never over $20.

I didn't know you were supposed to stop :lmao:. I still get one for DH.

It is actually MORE fun as they get older because we can hide them in really FUN spots and watch them try to find them :thumbsup2

what do you mean "stop?"

not only do they still get them, but THEIR kids get them too!!:lmao:

as do I!!!

Love those carmel filled cadbury eggs!!! And the See's chocolate!

and of course the bottle of RUM that the easter bunny puts in my basket!!;)

I finally stopped when they were around 25. Now that three of them have SO's, they can take over.
I'm only making one for my 16yo dd this year. Solid chocolate bunnies for the rest of them.

My kids are 15 & 17 now & still look forward to their Easter Baskets as does my 28 y/o niece. What is in them has changed over the years, but they still enjoy the candy. We still fill plastic Easter eggs with candy & hide them too. The adults have their own hunt too. Even though I don't use a basket for them, my mother still enjoys getting her Cadbury eggs every Easter too.
