At what age do kids lose interest?

My youngest dds are 8 and 5, they of course cannot wait to go back to Disney next year. My oldest dd just turned 10 and she is the MOST excited about going back. She loves everything Disney and does things there that surprise me. She's usually quite the ride chicken at amusement parks, well she dragged me on Expedition Everest and cannot wait to ride the Tower of Terror in August! (We didn't get to ride it in May)

She is also waiting very impatiently to swim with the sharks and sting rays at Typhoon Lagoon. She surprises me!!

I also have a stepson, who was 12 on our trip in May and enjoyed himself, he even had pics taken with some characters. He is 13 now and will be 14 by the time we go in August. He doesn't have the Disney excitement like my girls do, but some of the things he cannot wait for our:

The food again
His favorite rides
All of the shows (wishes, illuminations, etc..)
The waterparks
Disney Quest
We rented a boat a DTD and we're doing it again. (LOVED IT)
And just being on vacation, he LOVES vacations, who doesn't be he gets super excited for them. (So don't my girls)

Thanks for the great input everyone!
I kind of forgot about this thread and was so surprised to see all the responses when I came back. I think there are some good ideas here, as far as doing different things and finding new things for them to enjoy - I think they would love renting boats, and I've never taken them to the water parks, and they ADORE the water parks around us. And I had forgotten about Disney Quest as well. I mentioned something about taking them back recently, and DH was all surprised "you guys are going back?" Well, duh...:confused3 . I'm sure I can squeeze another trip or two out anyway.

I've been so busy because I leave Friday for 5 days at the world, just me and a girlfriend - so excited because I've never done a grownups only trip! Of course, when I booked the trip, I had no idea I'd also get a business trip to Dallas this week, and that DH would have to be in Florida for 10 days for training, starting today. Needless to say, I am pulling my hair out trying to get everything set up for the kids while we're both away.

Have fun! Oh, I had forgotten to add: I went as an adult twice with my mom and aunt, and my husband the year before we got married (the first real vacation he had ever been on) and our honeymoon, and one other time before kids. There is something for every age. I don't understand outgrowing Disney - we love the whole place. Have a great time.

Thanks happymommy - I'm a little stressed out right now, but hopefully I can relax once I'm there, because a grownup trip has long been kind of a dream of mine. Obviously I'll never outgrow Disney, so my big fear I guess is I'll run out of people that are interested to go with me!

I've been going to WDW since it opened. I'm now 42 and still LOVE IT. My kids are hitting the teenage years and, fortunately, they still love it. We go about 3x a year for different reasons.

My son is almost 17 and just got done telling me that he won't be sleeping the night before we leave for Disney this week. He's like, "I'll be TOO EXCITED TO SLEEP!!!" :goodvibes

I'm nearly 16, and I'll never lose interest.
My dream job is an imagineer :)

Besides, who says you're not really just a kid when you're 123 years old, eh?
