At VB, can you take a pool towel down to the beach?

We will be at VB for one night only in April. I don't plan on bringing towels with us on this trip, will I be able to grab one from the pool area to take to the beach? We will be arriving around 1:00, and we will probably go to the pool if it is nice, or down to the beach if the pool is too crowded. Since our room probably won't be ready, we obviously can't take towels from the room. So, will I be able to take the pool towels to the beach area without a problem? Or is this a no-no?

Guests are expected to take pool towels to the beach, too. You will need to have your resort ID to get into the pool area and to show to get the towels.

Great, thanks! We'll use the beach as a back up if there are no more chairs at the pool.

FYI,

There are always towels kept behind the little stand on the boardwalk where you can rent chairs/umbrellas. Most of the time we just grab them from there.

This past week, there were towels for pick-up at a "table/kisok" right at the top of the ramp/stairs going down to the beach
