We are at Universal now...did Studios yesterday, going to IoA today. Husband realized he’s ok with motion simulator rides but not those that simulate rollercoaster/soaring above a scene, ie jimmy Fallon and minions...are there rides like that at IoA too? He ended up skipping a bunch yesterday that he would have been ok with because of the unknown.

TIA

Maybe Spider-Man. Have him close his eyes on the screen parts of Forbidden Journey but don’t skip it. It’s too cool to skip. :)
Closing my eyes works fine if I start to feel bad on the screen based rides.
I hope he didn’t miss Mummy or Gringotts!!

Kong might be right on the line for you. It doesn't 'soar' but there are some suspension-type scenes.

Forbidden Journey should be okay.

I agree with PP about Spider Man, that one will probably be too much.

If he did okay on Transformers, then I would think he would be okay on SpiderMan (and SpiderMan is infinitely better than Transformers).

Love the transformers franchise but the ride gives me motion issues but spiderman is fine.

As opposed to closing one’s eyes to avoid such issues, generally suggested to look at a fixed spot inside the ride vehicle near the floor. Same concept as staring off at the horizon when green on a cruise ship.

Bakerjay...how are the crowds?

Has he tried some motion sickness meds? I find Bonine works great.

DH has pretty serious problems with motion sickness. He was fine (with Bonine) on Kong. In the past he's been ill after both FJ and Spider-Man.
