upgraded to VIP tour at gate & I'm so glad I did. The park is packed!

Looking forward to a fun 7.5 hour tour day!

It was amazing! I'm so glad that I decided to do it. I had pre purchased an Annual Pass and they applied the value of the pass to the VIP tour. There were only 10 people on the tour, including myself. Pretty amazing.

Just the extra special backlot tour was worth the price, with the opportunity to wander through the Prop Department and several other stops, like the plane crash area.

Owen, was our tour guide and he was personable & knowledgeable. Very helpful and friendly.

We were walked to the front of the line for several rides, including Forbidden Journey and also at Olivander's where one of our group had a wand that chose her.

After the 7.5 hr tour, we were able to use our VIP badges for unlimited front of the line use.

A few people just stayed for the Backlot Tour and lunch, then left to do rides on their own, so that's an option.

Quite a fun day and given how crowded the park was, well worth it.

My only interesting observation is how different this tour is from DL tours. I had expected some history of the park or have little usually unnoticed things pointed out, like Disney Guides do. However, we were just walked from attraction to attraction, without such information. Not bad, just different.

Pictures later as I'm traveling home today.

We have VIP tickets for our trip in August. I didn't realize the tour is 7.5 hours.
