I noticed MK was not that crowded. Was it b/c of the rain? Or have the parks been that way for your trip?
I am so happy for you that your daughter is having so much fun.
I can't wait to see smiles on my DD's face when she finally gets to visit.
21 days and counting!!!!!!!
:cool1:

MK has been packed just about every day of our trip. Wednesday night was a little unique... it was an extra magic night and the park was open from 9-midnight for hotel guests only. So, we intentionally waited for the crowds to clear up a little bit before taking some pictures of the castle. It was packed for the fireworks and you couldn't even walk or breath. Today (Thursday) it was a little busy, but I think the rain scared a few people away. We decided to skip MK tonight after seeing boat loads of park goers heading to the park in the evenings. Was quite a bit of hoopla to celebrate the 50th anniversary events (learned a little secret why they picked 05-05-05 as the kick-off day... if you flip the date upside down it really means 50-50-50). :)

Awesome photos, as usual! How do you like the Tamron 18-200? I'm having a hard time trying to decide which lenses to bring with me when I leave for WDW ... the day after tomorrow! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Your DD is a cutie!

Those pics were great! My DD will be 10/11 months while we're there and I can picture her doing the same thing with Cinderella during a meal. Food is most important! :rotfl:
Thanks for posting all of this for us, I am sure it takes a lot of time, but what a great way to have your 'photo album' already done before you even get back.

Love those shots!! We usually take about 200 + pics everyday with our D70 and then cut them down when we get home. I keep the most unusual ones and will use them for fun birthday cards and things. Sorry about the rain! We are getting it today up here in VA. Hope today is better! :umbrella:

All I can say is - oh my - you take wonderful pictures. My favorite is honk honk.....priceless.

I have a few L lenses (17-35) and a few Tamron lenses (17-35, 28-300, 28-75), but after playing with the new 18-200, it has turned out to be my favorite. It's light, has a nice focal range and allowed me to take every picture I wanted to without having to switch lenses. I tossed a polarizer on it a lot during the trip and was always pleased with the results. The only time I used a different lens was when I did the fireworks photos... I used my 28-75/2.8 Tamron for those since I does awesome in low light situations. The only lenses I brought with me were my L (which I didn't use) and my 18-200 and 28-75 Tamrons.

I usually take about 2500+ photos per trip, but didn't take that many this time since we had the kiddo with us and I also decided to photograph only things that were new or changed in a major way since our last trip. The grand total ended up being 1353 photos. I got lots of cool and unusual ones. :)

Well, once again you have blown us away with your photos. My son, a budding photographer, just loved the lizard pic and the waterfall. I know you are heading home today. We thank you so much for all the updates and the photos shared. You are so generous to let us join in on your vacation. We look forward to more, more, more!! :sunny:

well not really :p You take the most beautiful pics I've seen so far - may I ask what type camera you have? I'm looking to buy a new one for our trip next spring (altho won't help my past in chopping people's heads off :))

Your report is very lightspirited and fun to read - can't wait til next year's!!

I use a Canon 20D, which is a Digital SLR type camera. I love it. It replaced my 10D, that I used for our 2003 vacation. For the specific lens I used for each photograph, you will find the details below each picture on our website. Enjoy! :)

Thank you for sharing your magic with us! We can't wait for our trip in Oct.!!

Girlfriend, your pics ROCK!!!!!!!!!!! :) It makes me so ready for our December trip!! :)
