At the risk of sounding cheap...

I have attempted to put this delicately, but I end up sounding cheap no matter how I put it, so I'll be blunt:

I recently purchased resale through TTS and saw on another thread that they (TTS) very generously give out 'gift baskets' to new purchasers. We are staying at BCV next month, but are not driving (Magical Express). Would it be worth my while to take the time (and taxi) to drop by for the basket?

Like I said, I know that sounds cheap, and TTS has been an absolute pleasure to deal with, but I am hoping to get some opinions from others who have made the trip under similar circumstances.

Thanks.

The gift basket is wonderful and meeting the staff will be well worth the trip- even if you need to take a cab to get there. You can also look into renting a car for a day- it may be less than a cab (there are rental options both at the MK travel center and at the Dolphin and transportation is provided to either location). If there are any off-site things you want to take in, I'd just combine everything with the rental and thevisit to TTS.

Enjoy!

Another vote for renting a car for a day. Bet you could snag one for less than $30 and do lots of other stuff on that day as well. You will like the basket! Have fun!

This has no relevance to your question, just wanted to say:

Do you plan on purchasing groceries while there? The shopping mall where TTS is located has a large Publix in it, only a short distance from TTS.

You could visit TTS and also do some groceries on the same trip.

Plus that Publix has better "local" prices than anything close to Disney!

Ummmm--the gift basket is nice, but I would not rent a car just to get it-- the items in it could definitely be purchased for less than the cost of a rental car.
However, as others have said, if you plan to grocery shop anyway, the cab and/or car trip would be worth it.
