At the park now, mydisney app not working, any suggestions?

App is not working, keep getting error message trying to select new fast passes for MK.Any suggestions?
 
Have you used your first 3 passes? If so, you cannot pick additional (4+) FP+ using the app. You must use an in-park kiosk for 4+.
 
Yes, we used all three hours ago, some how my wife's ticket was disconnected from the account and it wouldn'tlet us book anymore fastpasses. 45 minutes at guest relations and it should be fixed. not impressed with FP+ so far.
 
Try opening a browser on your cell phone and go to MyDisneyExperience.com in that browser instead of using the app. I often find that this works SO much better! I wish I knew why - but a Cast Member told me to try it once and it's fantastic!! Good luck!

If you've used all your FP+ for the day, you have to go to the kiosks. You can't make more FP+ for the current day on MDE. Now, if you mean you're trying to make them for tomorrow and MDE is down, then that's a separate issue.

The kiosks is also the answer to the original question of what to do if MDE isn't working in the parks.

(Sorry, just had to throw that out there. In all seriousness, going to the other half of Orlando was SOOOO relaxing after dealing with all the pre-booking of WDW. W/ Onsite FotLA, we just went where we wanted whenever we wanted.)

I mean er...NOOO, WDW is still fantastic just the way it is. Those aren't glitches, it's just Tinkerbell playing her tricks. Bad Tink!

You should have been able to change the one for tomorrow, but it has never been possible to make a 4th FP from the app or a browser. It has always been only available at a kiosk. Yes, a bit inconvenient, but it's the way it is.

I do agree with the PP that if the app is being glitchy (as I wrote, you should have been able to make a change to tomorrow's FP+), try using a browser to do it through the website.

Regardless of what the CM told you, if you've used your initial 3 FP for the day, all subsequent passes have to be booked via a kiosk.
The issue with re-linking your wife's ticket should be able to be done via MDE, but probably easier at guest relations.

Did CMs tell you that you could book 4th FP via the app? When I was planning my first FP+ trip, I was getting conflicting information from call-center CMs on the phone. Sounds like you didn't read mesaboy2's FP+ guide:

On the other hand, when I was having problems with the app during planning, the CMs on Disney Internet Helpline 407-939-7765 were very knowledgable and helpful and always able to fix my problems. Once at WDW, I also found the CMs at the FP kiosks to also know what they were talking about, able to answer my questions, and modify FPs for us when app was acting screwy.

Adding on for the current day, somewhat unbelievably, is NOT possible from the app, and must be done at an in park kiosk.

I have found the app to be glitchy and unreliable at best! Restarting your phone / tablet seems to clear up MOST of the issues in the app, but be prepared to need to do this several times a day if you make any kind of actual use of the app, say to repeatedly check on the times for your FP+ bookings, try to bump up their times, and keep track of your ADR's. In other words, if you use the app the way they intended for it to be used, you will be restarting your device multiple times a day to keep said up functioning.
