At the Fort now....

We ended up in 612. Did some looping, but didnt see any ears. Its actualy pretty barren here. Im sure it will pick up the closer the weekend gets. I did have to stalk a maint truck to get a picture of his vehicle. It had the old Musket Micey Fort logo on the side. Pretty big logo too. Once I get it downloaded, Ill post it. Its nice to see Musket Mickey isnt totally gone.

There are a bunch of Fiends coming in for the Labor Day weekend. I have to prepare for the tediously long trip from Kissimmee. I plan to leave around noon on Friday and be checked in by 12:30. Look for my green ears and a "no accordian playing hippies" sign on my windshield.

We will check in early on Friday and then I will go on to work but will be back in the afternoon. We only have a partial site so have no idea where they will put us. We are coming in for the triathlon but will also spend time in the parks. I will have my green ears and my Mickey lampost. We have a very small popup.

I thought the drive from Tampa was easy. Do you even use any gas getting to the Fort???

I did meet a DISer last night, but they were not Fiends I dont think (if youre on here, I apoligise). They were staying at the all star resort and happen to be at the Fort for the movie and dinner. My old age is kicking in and can remember thier names right now.

The kind of Diser (fiend) who had to wake up at 0400 to be to work by 0630 with an hour and a half drive down I4. Trust me, it was not pleasant. BUT, this weekend you will most definetly find me out and about that late, if not later. Someone has to fight the otters off when they make thier midnight raid of the coolers.......

You're right, I don't use any gas, it's a diesel. I actually have to drive around WDW for a little while before I head to the Fort in order to let the engine warm up. Luckly, I know my way around.
