At the Fort now, for 8 days

Got the cable-modem so I could work from the site, vs. a long commute. I must say this is a nice work environment. The summer heat broke eariler this week with lows in the uppers 60s and highs around 90.
The Fort is very quiet this week, maybe at 20% capacity. Last weekend had the normal influx of locals as I'm sure it will return this evening.

glad we have 3 more trips scheduled this year.

What magic site are you staying on to get the upper 60's at night. we live outside of Tampa and have seen no break in the hot temps. We will be at the fort in 3 weeks. I really hope the temps are like you say it is. I'm done with the heat especially when we camp. Have a great trip

Were right across from the SOLA's!! I will have to say it is cooler at night than it has been.

We were at 427. Got back this afternoon and still have to put away the TT. It was "cooler" mid-week during the evenings. The mornings were nice, even this morning until about 9 and then it starts heating up.

And after 8 nights, the family did not want to leave. I think they want to move there.

I went to the fort about a week ago and I have to say I never learned my way around it is huge, or it seems that way to me.
