Sorry for the gap in my posts -- I couldn't log on at the Orlando airport and once I was home, I was waaaaaay too busy catching up on stuff and messing in other people's business here.

I will try to get pics posted later on today or tomorrow (including the lawnmower tree, Rosie

)
Lappy and I are in bed, under a big ole pile of blankets right now. (I COULD get up and build up the fire in the woodstove but I'm SO not feeling it. I'm nice and warm right now...why should I get up and get cold just so I can get warm again later?!?!

)
Magic Kingdom on Wednesday was tons of fun -- as we fully expected. We saw Princess Tiana's parade and OMG! What a pretty girl she is!
The girls made me go on BTRR. (I'm not a big roller coaster fan but this one's actually pretty fun -- even for a wuss like me.)
We did Hall of Presidents. The last time I was in there was during the Reagan administration (dragged in by my dad). I had been looking forward to seeing President Obama -- but I found I was still a little bit put off by the presentation's open-armed embrace of Manifest Destiny. Interestingly, this was one of the few attractions where I'd say I was well under the average audience age. I was particularly touched by one couple -- both frail and elderly (she was in a walker) who said that Hall of Presidents was their favorite stop in all of WDW.
I gotta say -- I thought the holiday decorations were outstanding. The Mickey wreaths and garlands were everywhere and the Castle! OMG! THE CASTLE! I have never seen anything like that in my life!!! SO FREAKIN' GORGEOUS !!!!
We watched Wishes at the Poly and had dinner at OHana. Yummy Scrumptious Fabulousness as always.

We all got leied. (tee-hee).
Sarah's plane left early on Thursday. After checking out (gotta love a balance due of $0.00

), AnnaMarie and I did a little last minute shopping at the Wilderness Lodge Mercantile and then gorged ourselves silly on Mickey Waffles at Whispering Canyon. We got to do the ketchup thing. So silly. So fun.
My flight to Phoenix was packed -- lots of folks traveling for the holidays. Happy excited vibe overall. In San Antonio, a young couple with a baby wearing the cutest little Rudolph the Reindeer outfit imaginable boarded the plane and sat next to me. They were headed to San Jose and all I could think about was how thrilled that little baby's grandma was going to be, to see and hold him for the first time.
Like I said earlier, I'm going to try to get some pictures posted later on today or tomorrow. It's light now -- so I guess I oughta head out to the living room and get the wood stove cranked up. The boys split kindling yesterday and Mr. Chuck got up and fed it around 1:00 so it IS my turn... I guess.

(Sometimes, central heat does NOT seem like that bad an idea....)
Have a Great Day, Everybody!
