Loosing Boo Boo

We signed up for land line service and internet. My husband did ask her for a date when this would all turn on. She said she would let him know before they hung up. Well he forgot to ask when done. Well I called back yesturday and I was informed nothing will get turned on till the 18th 
. I asked why since there is no tech coming to do anything why so long. It took a supervisor to say they had to dea with the outside box. By the way they send the box UPS. So dont know when that arrives either. Has anyone else ever have to wait that long for the service? I explained I dont care about the internet, just the phone as I use my cell phone and I use minutes, and I cant get good reception in the house. So frustrating. Hope I am not the only one. Jo
