I should've bit her!

It's gonna cost $1100 OOP to fix two of my teeth. More need work done, but they wanted to do those two first as they are the worst & next to each other. DH is not gonna be happy.

I didn't get done what I wanted to...not because DH needed me to help him, but because he was sick today. 101.5 fever, chills...what's up with dat? So I was Nurse Debbie for poor DH today..."Drink your fluids" :teeth"

Then DS16 calls from school to say he was called out of class because his car was broken into. They didn't get much, and I think the only reason they looked at his old jalopy at all is because he had a radio remote and ipod earphones in the console...they prob thought it was an ipod... So, I had a very upset 16yr old on my hands this afternoon. He is OK now, and cleaned up the broken glass. I just felt to bad for him, because he is just getting to feel secure in driving, and now he feels violated. But I kept telling him, he wasn't hurt, it's just a car and can be fixed, and it will make him more cautious...

Sigh...my swaps weren't touched much today at all....

Sorry about DS car being broken into. I remember the first time that happened to me. They stole all my stuffed animals off the rear window ledge (had a Ford Falcon not really restored ) and all the change in my ashtray. Why would you break a window for stuffed animals? Ipod, I get. Glad they didn't much from your DS. Give him a . Chances are it won't happen again because they didn't get anything good the first time.

so sorry debbie that you had a lousy day. hope your dh is feeling better real soon! and so so sorry for your ds. the poor thing must have felt so bad. what a terrible feeling. give him a big hug for me!

awm-what year was your falcon? dh has a 65 falcon that he just loves. my bff wanted to go out one night when we were in high school and (ds was out of high school )we did not have any $ so we saw dh who was just db at the time and sold him her car for like $40.00 and a pack of cigarettes!!!! till this day, she tells him all the time that she wants her car back!
