School starts today...carpool for 2 weeks till DS16 can drive on is own... OK, so does anyone know where my summer went? done

DIS Coffee Talk Inbibe adult beverages for a toast to the next round of kids to school

done

Laundry in process

Paint sample for OS class tomorrow not yet...sigh

Start stained glass giftie for DH for anniv 9/1 nope...maybe Wednesday

Pick up kids from school done

DS16 for shoes done, is it so much to ask for size 10.5 all black vans? Not one in the state...ordering online

Walmart for first round of supply shopping done

Dinner...shredded beef tacos cookin'

DS12's middle school back to school nite done, the last one in this school
copy all the discs x 2 that I got from mom that are my florida trip (our trip)
make sure all photos are copied x 2 (relabel dh's bad handwriting on the ones he did)
after completing above task, delete off kodak program since it won't let me access those he moved.. (err this is where I found said trip photos missing)
pull out dinner for the evening done

Drinks all around scrappers! This DIS household starts school tomorrow- 3rd grade!

1- peel myself out of bed shot out of bed- it helps that my alarm is obnoxious
2- make DD somewhat special bfast done
3- all of us out the door - make sure to take annual pics in front of school done- email sent to grandparents including the said pictures
4- continue laundry almost done
5- clean bedroom just need to do the floor
6- kids clothes for pictures done
7- p/u DD, ask her 20 million questions about her day picked her up, havent had a chance to ask 20 million questions yet
8- race to meet the photographer done
9- dinner: DD wants fish for her first day dinner
10- go through DD's paperwork from school
11- collapse in a heap

Today we are trying to get back to normal after our adventures with Tropical Storm Fay. She dropped 2 feet of rain on us with most of that on Saturday. My yard is still swampy (after it was about 6 inches deep with water on Saturday) and the yard, sidewalk, and driveway are full of pinecones, leaves, pineneedles, and branches! The drive to take DS to school this morning was an experience since there are so many roads closed. We ended up going way out of the way to get there.

And, DH just called me and said that Fay is changing directions and coming back towards the panhandle!!!!!

Anyway, here's my list for today:
Start work on yard, driveway, and sidewalk cleanup I started working on it, but it started raining again
Enter receipts in checkbook Done
Pay bills Done
Start working on scout reports for tomorrow's committee meeting
Work on scrap swaps and pages

DD is home today. Fever and sore throat. Isn't it a little early in the year for this!? Throat looks pretty nasty - glands swollen. Not good. Guess I will be calling the pediatrician a little later.
