Finish cleaning bathroom. Hate doing the sink and area around toilets on the floor. :scared:

Forgot, need to make the strawberry smoothies this morning.

Lets see todays plan

Work
meet DH and DS at DHs office
take DS to allergist
see how DS is doing and decide to come back to work or not (hmm I can see how this one is going to go. LOL)
dinner
play evening by ear depending on DSs feelings.

I'll be on later and update everyone on what the allergist says. Did I tell you all he was only in the 50% at his 6months appointment. He was 99% and 95% when he was born so he's now down to just average. Well he has an itty bitty head which is only 30% but overall just average. Now if we can get his skin stuff worked out we'll be all good.

Good luck at the specialist today Jenny.

Toasting to one kid safely on the bus to school. Two kids waiting in the wing...and the one glass nearly gone! :)

Good luck tinkryansmom on the start of another school year!

Today:
Enjoy the quiet time and may take a nap! done
Scrap 4 pages
lunch done
figure out dinner done
make cookies for afterschool done
homework duty w/ little one (drat! another chore every day!) NONE!! But he did bring his science book home to show me and read!
pick up older kids from CC practice (they get out 15 mins. after one another! just enough drive time!)
homework enforcer for the older ones!
talk to kids about their days and the new school gossip
than of course the evening routine..

Maybe I'll do something more exciting tomorrow..today, I will take it easy so I don't throw myself into a tizzy w/ the new found quiet!

PD for Noah at the allergist.
Happy back to school for those who are going back. Happy quiet day to their Moms!!

My numbero uno to do today is put back my house after the sheetrocker and painters have left. They did a horrid job. The man we contracted with never showed, he subed it out. We are going to have a little chat before he gets any more money.

Run Dishwasher through
Wash linens from guest bedroom
wash window treatments in living room. Have I mentioned I have dust everywhere?!
Weekly weigh in

OH no Lisa..
If they did a horrid job they would NOT be getting paid...but I'm sure you know that and will be handling it well when you talk to that fool. ;( Why come talk to people if you are going to contract out.. I expect if I talk to you... you and your crew not a subcontractor will be handling the job.. :(

off to watch some more olympics w/ the older ones before they leave!!!

Back from the allergist and lunch. Good news is DH and I both really liked the doctor but bad news is he's pretty sure its a milk allergy. We did a blood draw today to confirm it but with the history and records I've kept its pretty much a forgone conclusion. Of course I could have told them that but whatever. LOL So for now we just keep going like we are with his hypoallergenic formula and introducing foods as normal and keeping record if anything else is acting up and when he gets closer to a year we'll have to see about dairy products. We go back in three months to do some of those things unless we call and need to go back sooner. He did give us a stronger cream for his break outs that I'll have to get filled but thats only on an as needed basis.

So I guess we just keep going for now and see how it goes.

It's good to know what it is for sure.
Is it something he can outgrow? My brother had an intolerance as a baby, had to drink special formula but when he was a teenager he could drink milk.

Good to hear we know have confirmation (or close to it w/ this new blood draw).. hopefully, he will out grow it...if not at least he will know from the get go what he can/can not have.

:)

Nice to have a doctor you like too!!! :)

I was extremely allergic to milk and all dairy products as a child. They didn't figure it out until I was about 6 years old. I did eventually outgrow the allergy but I have not had a glass of milk since they realized I had my allergy. I remeber my first slice of pizza with cheese- I was 16. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions I might be able to answer or if you just want to have someone to comiserate with.
