Meeting at hospital with the team taking care of DUnc96. He is doing poorly , DH is a wreck, nursing home...hospice on the horizon. This is a really difficult time...

Dinner? I'm in the mood for lasagna....

Here's my list for today:

1. Work--DONE
2. Cut stuff for POTC--journal boxes done!
3. Pick up DH from work--DONE
4. Dinner with MIL & FIL--DONE
5. Maybe clean out my bookshelf
6. Watch CSI New York from last night (all my good shows come on after I go to bed!! )

-power sculpt video/shower/dress Done
-post office Done
-coffee store Done
-get car inspected They couldn't fit me in before lunch, will have to try again tomorrow
-power walk with BFF this afternoon Done, we did about 3 miles
-start spring yard work Done, got 2 bags full of leaves.....only 200 left to do!

Debbie so sorry to her about DUnc.. We'll keep all of you in our prayers and thoughts... Give DH a hug.. and tell him it'll all work out for the best even though the decision will be hard.... lots of hugs to all of you...

so sorry debbie to hear about dUnc. real life can be so hard sometimes. i'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

well here's my to do list for the day..



1.NO work!!!!! took today and tomorrow off!!!!

2.take ds and dmom out to breakfast. (their choice-anywhere they want to go)

3.ds wants to do chuckie cheese REAL bad!!!

4.print some pics (trying to get caught up)

5.thank you card- left over from yesterday

6.prep supper (make some kind of fancy dessert for dh-because he's sad that ds and i are having an alone day and he wanted to play "hookie", but could not because he took 1 1/2 months off while mom was in the hospital and just went back last week-- wow that's a pretty long story for prep supper!!!)

7.i'd like to go to the movies to see horton hears a who, but i hate to be inside on a beautiful day.

8. and the never ending

Ok, so I have procrastinated (ok, not really, just have been too preoccupied with DH's job) and I am not fully prepared for DS's birthday tomorrow!

1- make bed done
2- feed fish done
3- mom's group done
4- kitchen floor done
5- tidy kids bath
6- buy DS's pressies done
7- get Wilton coloring for Lightening McQueen cake done
8- bake above cake done
9- have DH decorate cake (he loves this)
10- straighten bedroom done
11- clean up trash in backyard done
12- try to get dog hair off the back porch done
13- blow the back deck done
14- wash rugs done
15- hang up the laundry (on the list for the 3rd day in a row) done
16- straighten DS's room done

I am sure there is more. Can you say panic? Luckily my parents are coming to town and said they would help in any way!!!

Wish I'd known you needed the food coloring for lightning mcqueen as we have that - boy you really need to use alot of red to get the right red or else you'll have pink - a no-no for a lightning don't you think?
My at least 3:
1. Finish laundry -done
2. Figure out how many pieces of bazzill to buy tomorrow at freaky friday at LSS
3. Tidy house - did flyzone (bathroom) and loft area but really want to get sunroom tidied up
4. Finish dinner - done.
5. Sort out tomorrow - want to go to the science museum as it has a special event for members, go to LSS, go to best buy to see if can get camera fixed (baby dropped it and UV lens cover broke and shattered glass everywhere - so glad I got the protection program!), tidy house more as inlaws are coming to stay

Yes, a pink Lightening is a definite no-no! This will be our second year for a Lightening cake, so hopefully DH can remember what he did last year!
