DH and DS will be leaving in a few minutes to go hiking and I'll have the whole day to just play with paper!!!!:cool1:

Work on Resort Swap
Start on MK Swap
Tidy up scrap area

That's a tough list. I wonder if I can force myself to work on it!!!:rotfl:

My day is focused on one thing, going to the New England Family Genealogy conference and I am going with BAMB's Mom so I figure my to do's are:

Drive MomK safely to and from MA. Done Though she did get the forearm across the chest act when we almost bagged a turkey as he flew across the highway. If I didn't see the car to my left slow down from my side vision, Tom Turkey would have been a goner.
Don't lose MomK. Returned to her loved ones all in one piece

As long as I do those two things, I'm good.

Have a great day everyone!

Drive safe.

I love geneaology sutff - haven't worked on any in 20 years. I have one side back to 1700s in England. I want to join DAR but haven't pursued it yet. Too many things going on.

Can you recommend a good computer program that is easy? The one I bought years ago was confuing and I gave up!

Names I am into: Stoneham(main one), Marslender, Carrawan, Moore and the good old Smith.

We have a genealogy thread with some good locations to check. My favorite still by far is www.familysearch.org, next www.ancestry.com. The LDS do genealogy like no other organization.

It was a great seminar. I would recommend to all to check your local state Family History Center to see if they are having a day long conference in your area. The wealth of information in the syllabus is phenominal.

Well, how did that happen.. basketball season ended 2 weeks ago for all kids.. with of course our STATE championship win!!! The next weekend we had our first travel soccer game.... than our schedule lucked out so we don't play again till the weekend of April 12th.. than we play every Sat. & Sun...lucky for me..even though there is some good distance travel..it's all at times where I don't have to miss little guys soccer games we can leave after them to get to DS11's travel soccer games!:worship:  :woohoo:

Now, track meets are all during the week...and there are some I can't get to this year due to other conflicts...but DD is cool with that... one less time mom is toting that camera in her face!!! :rolleyes1

DsS17 is looking for a job so he isn't playing sports **but will say, he just seems to think a job is gonna fall at his feet** :headache: Someone needs a reality check!

DsS13 is playing basketball but that is a whole other box of worms that I've wiped my and DH has his hands of....but we don't want to open that box...:headache: :upsidedow
