12. Work on cleaning/organizing scrap room (maybe)
13. Salad for dinner--nope, chick-fil-a
14. Get stuff ready for work thing Friday night--DONE

So, I wake up and I'm thinking it's a little bit chilly...

Last year we had to get a new heater, and the guy was out on Tuesday to check it...everything was fine... Now today I get up and the thermostat says

"The thremostat setting is 69 degrees. The indoor temperature is 64 degrees"

JUST GREAT!!! Oh, and yes the thermostat does talk. They replaced my old one when I got the new heater, and this one talks. I had a few nice things to say to the little man that was talking this morning!

So, I guess my day is changing a bit now...

So, I call what is supposed to be the emergency line. He says they will be in the office at 8am. Me, "Why is this the emergency line then?" "WELL", says the guy, "I could have called the dispatcher, but emergency cut off is 5am." OMG, you're killing me here! And this company's big advertisement is "Boulden's 1-hour Service" What a crock of you know!!!

Oh no Debbie! We are going to be waiting on the furnance people again... what the heck! It's -3 here this morning and our kids are going to school on time.... I'm so glad I got a good driver...she tells us as soon as it gets cold..don't send those kids out that door until I've stopped at your house... I don't even know what the wind chill is.... I mean a 2 hour delay is better than dozens of sick kids!!!

Lots to do today!!

Elem kid up and on bus
beds made x 2
lunches made
dishwasher unload
dishwasher loaded (small amt. not enough to run till tonight)
make dinner up tonight as I won't be here (spaghetti)
older kids up and on bus
beds made x 2
while making DD's bed..cleaned her room...took 1.5 hours! The kid is NEVER home except to sleep...why does she just drop things in that room....I found about 15 pairs of socks!!!
cleaned all bedrooms & bathroom upstairs!!!
put away all laundry (I'm the only one who can do this!)
DD has 2 changes of clothes (Amb. Clothes/Warm up for BB/uniforms)
has Ambassador event outside the HS today @ 9AM - 10:15AM
Go to school event for photos (DD is none to happy! Sorry)
Pick up Board we had to make last night for today from her (yup, someone told her at the last frickin' minute and she had a game last night)
file IN taxes electronically today
copy IN taxes for records
file away all tax records
make sign for receipt bin (we are trying something new this year)
pay water bill
dinner menu x 2wks
grocery list
shopping list
work on set for swap (got box in w/ materials yesterday)
ck. n w/ BAMB again today (they were touring around the old neighborhood yesterday)
elem homework duty
older kids' homework duty
Dh having a boys dinner night (of course I cook)
I'm going to PJ's last BB game of the season!!!!!

Oh no Holly, I hope you start feeling better! And a GYN appt when you already feel bad...it's like insult on top of the injury! Glad your DS is better though!
