Everyone have a great Friday!! It's a 3-day weekend here, too! I hope to get lots of scrappin' and swaps done!
Ok, so today I got NOTHING done. We had staff development at work today--which consisted first of a dvd about what to do in the event of a school shooting, and then a 2 1/2 hour faculty meeting, which should have lasted 20 minutes, but people wouldn't quit talking!! I think my frustration level was at maximum overload!! After about 30 minutes, I started trying to do our family finances in my head to see if I "had" to go back to work after the baby was born (yep, I do, but for the few minutes I thought I might not have to, it was really nice!!

) Most of the time I like my job, and I know there are people who are not fortunate enough to have jobs, but some days just get to you, you know?!
Then, our assistant principal's daughter was at school (she's 10). She's really sweet, and I saw her, so I hugged her. Only, it turns out that she's at our school because she has Fifth Disease, and her mom has to take her to the doctor. Know what one of the things about Fifth Disease is? If you have it, you're not supposed to be around pregnant women!! So, I had to call the ob. Now, they say, "probably nothing to worry about, since most people have already been exposed and are therefore immune", but I still have to go in Monday and have blood drawn, and then wait until Wednesday to find out.
Yeesh! I'm such a worrier anyway. . .I know the nurse at my dr's office probably thinks I'm crazy!
After that day, I came home and collapsed on the couch for 2 hours. I didn't even wake up when DH came home. Nice guy that he is, he took me out for some Mexican food and a trip to Hobby Lobby!
Now, the plan is just to relax, relax, relax, and enjoy the 3-day weekend!!
Shauna, I'm sorry you're going to have to have surgery, but I'm glad the recovery rate is 100%, and that they've found out what's going on!!
Thanks for letting me vent, everyone!!
