The day before Thanksgiving!!

Today I have to:

Go to the market to buy the turkey and other stuffs for the dinner

Make some cuppycakes

Dust and vacuum dining room so we can eat there on Thanksgiving

Dinner

wrap up my swap and hopefully mail

post office

boys to school done

boys home (1/2 day) done

call MIL to tell her what time to be ready Thursday done

empty dishwasher and dish drainer done

thoroughly clean kitchen

work on xmas budget

balance checkbook done

order tires for my truck (thank goodness insurance paid for all of DS7's glasses cause I took 250 out of the tire fund for DH's glasses, that's a little easier to replace)

run turkey recipe, cheesecloth, white wine, and butter to mom's house done

1.ds,up,dressed,breakfast,bus
2.no work for me!!!! YIPPEE!!!!!
3.run to seafood store & pick up scallops for dh
4.post office
5.pay bills
6.deposit $ into c.u. -maybe #5 and #6 should be reversed!
7.make yet another list of christmas gifts that I need!
8.pack swim bag.
9.laundry, laundry, laundry
10.run to i party. looking for something special for someone special!

ok that should be enough to get me rollin for the day.

Work on Disney scrapbook for charity auction
Start stitching DS's Christmas ornament
Put together a prototype for the Wierd Everyday Swap

Since family will be here sometime today (before dinner) I have a ton to do. Hoping the kids are in a good mood to help

Go to the market to buy the turkey and other stuffs for the dinner

Oy!! DH went along to "help" and it ended up being such a mess! He kept taking the cart to "get it done faster" then was getting the wrong stuff without me, and I spent extra time putting back stuff and getting the right stuff. When we were at the check out, and I see that he snuck in 2 cabbages "so I could make LOTS of cole slaw tomorrow" I told him he was fired as my helper. At that point he sheepishly put 1 cabbage back

Oh Yeah! I forgot to tell you the whole poinsettia/dog food incident. I told him we needed the dog food, and we were at opposite ends of the isle. I point right and start walking...he gets stuck in front of the flowers. I get the bag of dog food, and walk to his end of the isle. HE is walking to the cart with the little pot. So I say "how come you have the light flowers, and I'm carrying the 20lbs of dog food?" There was a guy at the end of the isle and he starts cracking up...then says to me and DH " Well, they say women are the stronger sex"...yeah buddy...you should have seen that funny guy run down the isle when I told him I was going to slap both him and DH MEN!!!

Today was load up the car, take the kids for their allergy shots and then drive to ILs - that's all done.
Now I need to unload the car and keep Eldest from making a mess in every room of the house.
Little Bit & MIL went to Walmart for last minute shopping. I surprised her today. We were all going to come down tomorrow, but nobody was available to cat sit, so I'll be be going back on Friday. The cats can be alone for one night.

Hobby Lobby has their carts for $39.99, but they have no new ones. So DH went to Michael's and had them price match that for Fairies & Cars. This way if I can't get the carts at Creative Expres for the $29.99, I have them. If I can, I'll just take them back to Michael's.
