Yikes...where did the weekend go? Welcome to Monday!


Today I have to:

Try to get rid of this cold that DS20 shared...

Good morning! How is it Monday already?? I asked DH that last night, and he said, "Because we've already been through all of the other days". Yep, thanks, honey!

Here's my list for today:

1. COFFEE, COFFEE, COFFEE, COFFEE!!!--DH played "Gears of War 2" online last night. He came to bed @ 2 a.m., and DS got up at 3 a.m. So, people should not expect too much of me today!! DONE
2. More coffee.--DONE
3. Drop off DS--DONE
4. Work--DONE
5. Pick up DS--DONE
6. Drop off pumpkin bread to my brother--my mom has a rule. . .she'll make stuff for me, but I have to take equal amounts to him, too! --DONE, and I didn't steal any!! I almost did. . .
7. Fold laundry
8. Work on SIL's album for Christmas--I'd like to have it done by Friday, but I haven't started!!
9. Watch "Big Bang Theory"--nope, went to bed early!
10. Go to bed early!! --DONE

Debbie, I hope you get to feeling better. Colds are no fun.

We partied all weekend for DS's birthday and it was fun. We gave him a Wii for his birthday and we've all had so much fun playing it together. That's a really good system for playing games together as a family!

My Monday:

Have a cup of Mickey hot chocolate (it's COLD outside!) Done

Take down DS's birthday decorations
Clean up from the parties
Laundry
Call insurance company about getting DS on car insurance
Work on Goofy scrapbook for friend
Watch DWTS

Basketball season officially starts today!!!

The list is a mile long...but most of it is 5 minute tasks so don't panic!!!

Ds up and ready for schol done
photos of DS all dressed up for his bb game tonight done
verify again everything is loaded, cell, shoes, extra socks, they keep their unifroms @ school! done

make schedule out of early pick ups for kids I watch done
make list of photos needed 1/2 done
start uploading photos for 4 books *ABC*
lunch done
preschooler to school done
clean van while waiting to drop of preschooler done
empty van of purchases from yesterday done
make list (ever so small) of items bought & # (also what is left to purchase) doneonly about 10 more things to buy and most if is DH!
stop by jeweler and order ring Must be done tomorrow.. the child forgot to put her ring size.. I think I know what it was..but she has it written done in her room...

txt w/ DS after school he must report in from Subway and when he returns to school before the game (it's 1 block) done
pick up DD from BB practice *her game cancelled due to injuries still* done
DS's game tonight *DsS's game is away but DH only goes to the home games that way he gets to 50% of each boys' games* done
dinner done: McD's is cooking for me crockpot will hold till tomorrow!
DH will cut DS's hair tonight

They are both showered, dressed & fed, I feel like half the battle is won.
Finish the elements for the prototyped "Science Fair" and start working on the complete page swap.
Put laundry away.
Wash kitchen floor, again.
Clean bathrooms. Have to do the shower stall .
Finish fundraising letters. I did do one over the weekend.

Really while the lists are long... most of it is handled merely by me telling the kids "time to get up", " you ready" "see you all later" "remember your homework" "call me".... it really isn't bad.. I do have time to eat bon bons and sit on my butt during the day!!!!

Now, off to make the list of photos for the ABC books!!!

The weekend went with 3 sick people in my house UGH!

DH, DD, and DS13 all have bad head colds. DH and DD home today and I am sure DS13 will be home tomorrow. I don't plan to get much done, but I am hopeful

never ending done
trash day tomorrow done
vaccum living room done
vaccum DS13's room done
vaccum office done
run to store for more cold meds done
get DD up and to school for pm classes done

2. Clean up wall in kitchen- we sprayed for ants- one of the probnlems with a warm closet.done
3. clean off kitchen counter.
4. empty dishwasher
5. work on cps
6. laundry- was- dry- fold- put awaystarted
7. work on last of San Antonio pages
8. clean computer desk
9. make list of things from store for tomorrow
10. call uncle- check on snack, lunch, and breakfast foods to buy
11. check on what I should bring for over/unders
12. clean up papers in living roomstarted

That doesn't include the recipe or song swaps which take up a bookshelf by themselves.

That is a long list but most of it is just looking at papers and throwing them away and making some quick phone calls.

My DH swears that I sit on the couch all day, with a blanket around me, the dog on my lap, eating cookies and milk while I read. Yep, I have time for that.

That is what I want to do. Go to sleep. It is such a doledrum day. But I forgot I've got to take the cats to the vet at 2:00. That means at 1:00 I have to start corralling them up. They hate the cat carriers. Good thing it's cold enough to wear gloves. Ouch.

I put away my swap thing and I realized- I need an intervention- I have 15 8.5 by 11, 5 12 by 12, 3 10by10by10 drawers, and 4 12 by 12 by 3 inch boxes filled with swap items- granted they are sorted out by types but really. That doesn't include the recipe or song swaps which take up a bookshelf by themselves.

I have 5 swaps that are mailed in and somewhere in the process of being returned (some aren't due yet but I have sent them in).

The problem isn't that I don't use swaped items- I do just ask the girls that went to SDV with me- at least 90% of my pages had swap items on them- that is how I got them done so quickly.

By the way that doesn't even account for the bought swap items that are put away by the type of item- flowers, brads, eyelets, ribbons, ect.

They will never forgive me. I tricked them by bringing them in the house first. They don't come inside. So they were kinda shell shocked just looking around and I popped them in the carrier. They are now both crying at me until it is time to go in the car. Then they will cry the whole way there and back. Good thing I'm making tuna sandwhiches tonight. The tuna water may help them forgive me, a little.

The kids are handling their homework.. DH will handle haircuts...
and DS12 scored 10 points tonight.. 4 points in less than 5 seconds! Scored..steal..and a score!!! Now if we could just get a couple of guys to see him open he could have had another 10 points!!!!!
