Today I have to:

Fix broken costume for DS16 done

dust, vacuum, mop, clean potties...done

Go buy a couple of bags of candy have to send DS16

Decorate for Halloween Hmmmm...nope...

Pack a dinner for work done

I have no idea. The boys have off from school today. DH & Eldest are going to ILs because Little Bit has his soccer party on Saturday and wasn't willing to miss that. We are on our own today. Not much house cleaning getting done today. More like house messing.

Make DS's National Jamboree payment at scout office Done
Go to scrapbook store - everything is 70% off today. Next Friday is their last day. I'm so going to miss my LSS! Done

Find out what DS and friends' plans are for tonight
Give out candy to the trick-or-treaters
Stitch on ice cream sampler
Go to bed early since we'll leave VERY early for WDW in the morning!

Trying to get a bunch done today since we plan to party all night in the driveway

shower and get ready done

tidy kitchen done
sweep wood floor done
go get styrfoam cups (or something more environmentally friendly) done
buy cider done
pull old flowers done
clean 1/2 bath since it will probably be used by lots of neighbors tonight done
hem DS12's choir pants so he can wear them tonight as a lawyer
Get candy out and put in pumpkin jar (hoping the kids haven't found it)
deliver DS13's football jersey to friend to use tonight
walk or run I ran


That should keep me pretty busy for the day.

Tell him you'll offer up his home phone for nighttime emergencies to your kids if we don't get an INSIDE door to that room!

Ash: had I know you need to laminate earlier I would have sent you to ebay- they have plastic resealable sleeves that the poster just slide into and the place I got them had terrific pricing!! I made the signs as you know for our fall festival... Now, we are *YES I demanded help and am only making the banner* making 2 doorway stands that the banner will read "HOLIDAY SHOP" for political correct-ness (drives me nuts)... anyway, the poles to the door stands are going to be decorated like candy canes made out of PVC.

DIT_ Have fun at WDW hopefully it will be as easy for you as it was for me. I highly reccomend not going to see Tink- I was at the front of rope drop and it took me 55 minutes to get there. Evrything else was practically a walk on at most of the parks- RnR was at 10-20 minutes standby at 1pm, ToT was walk on at the same time, even Toy Story was only 50 minutes, Saoring had FP available till 7:30pm, Test Track never ran out of FP, Mission Space was 5 minutes in the afternoon, I was at MK in the morning and at 8:45 (EMH) Dumbo was still a wait for the people in the group ahead of you and then ride,- it was still fairly empty (maybe 15 min at 11when I left), character lines seemed to be the main waits - along with free food and wine seminars.

Tinkryansmom- enjoy Disneyland- I have never been but want to someday.

PO#- Relax on the way to the doctor's- tensing up won't help- Also let us know what he says- I am praying for you.

You folks have some busy days today! I'm not working again today, so I should have a reasonable day again today!

Kids up, dressed in costumes (including black hair spray for DS). DONE

Drive to school because we were running late due to costume issues! DONE

Empty Dishwasher and refill. DONE

Hang out yesterdays load of clothes... sun today! DONE..... Brrr

Make breakfast for DH and myself (MMM.... grits!). DONE

Make mini-caramel apples (from Family Fun mag) for DD's friend's party tonight. DONE... but they didn't work... the caramel all slid off... not sure what I did wrong!


Email some ancestry information to Mom. DONE

Make my bed. DONE

Clean my bathroom to remove the overspray from DS's black hairspray! DONE... what a mess.. even though I couldn't see the overspray, everywhere I wiped came away black!

Scrap for a few hours?? Never made it....oh well.

Vacume downstairs, including mudroom. DONE

Straighten up mudroom. DONE

Get DS from bus stop (2:35pm) DONE

Bring caramel apples, sleeping bag, etc. to DD's friend's house. DONE... obviously I didn't bring the apples that didn't work out.

Help DS decorate front porch for trick or treating. DONE

Make tuna casserole for dinner. No one is in the mood for this.... probably a sandwich night!

Serve dinner before candy time begins!

Help DS clean up dinner mess.

Rock, paper, scissor with DH to see who gets to take DS trick or treating and who has to stay home and hand out candy!! :thumbsup: DH not feeling well, so he will hand out candy while I take DS and a friend around the neighborhood.

Watch a movie with DS.

Crash by 10 pm..........................P

Thanks for the heads up Rebecca. I hope the parks aren't busy tomorrow. DS and his girlfriend are planning to do HS and AK and she's never been to either of those parks. I'm going to do HS and Epcot, but I've seen everything so even if it's busy, I'll be quite happy just soaking in the magic! I wish we could get there by rope drop, but it's a 3 1/2 - 4 hour drive so we won't get there until around 10.

Got to work- sort of got here on time

Ideally leave early from work

Tidy kitchen, den, master bedroom, bathrooms

Put up guest bed in scrap room for weekend guests

Start handing out candy

Attend a local block party called the Kong Party

Hand out more candy

Attend or at least cameo another local party

Hand out more candy

Eat something other than candy and junk

Wait for house guests to arrive



If I can get the house tidied and the guest room set up the rest of the night will be fun! Hence why I need to get out of work early!

Sorry PN96, I couldn't find a September stamp. The scrapbook store hardly has any stamps left and no monthly ones. I checked JoAnn's which is next door and the basket of clear monthly stamps they had last time I was there was gone and I couldn't find them anywhere. The only monthly stamps I found was a set of all 12 months, but it cost $9.99!!!

I have a September stamp if you want to borrow it.

In defense of the builder I have not had him work on the floor plan issue at all. Master bedroom problem. That is kinda funny.
