Today I have to:

Work on fish tank

market

finish swap and pack up to mail

paint sample for class tomorrow

go to college open house with DS16

Good morning!! How does Monday get here so quickly?

Here's my list for today:

1. LOTS of Coffee!--started this one
2. Work
3. Clean my bathroom--DONE
4. Clean DH's bathroom
5. Laundry!
6. Pick up DS (my favorite part of the day)
7. Pick up pictures and try to get sorted
8. Watch "Big Bang Theory" and "Jon & Kate" tonight!

Clean dining room Partially done
laundry 2 loads done, but DH needs to clean the dryer vent out before I do more
Mail embellishment box Waiting to hear from Mischief Managed that she's ready for it before I mail
Check with AAA on price of a 1-day Disney ticket for DS's girlfriend for this Saturday Done
Call Disney dining to make a lunch reservation for Saturday Done
Work on 4x4 swap
Stitch on ice cream sampler
Take DS to skating practice

Call allergist. Little Bit has been coughing everynight since Thursday. I thought it was a cold, but he doesn't cough during the day. Must be the allergies. DONE-see post #15
Pick up Little Bit from school if appointment is available for today. No need
Everything else depends upon that.

Clean counters, swifter floor in kitchen. DONE
Vacuum floor in family room. DONE
Clean downstairs bathroom. DONE
Grocery shop. DONE
Put laundry away.
Don't forget laundry in washer - ewww- DONE it's in the dryer now

Wow! What an evening last night... Not ever an event I want to attend again.. I was fine (as fine as could be expected) until I saw his Dad....and my poor DS12... he is taking this harder than we even knew....today is going to be such a somber day at school....... I'm just glad the boys are all sticking together...


Today:

find lyrics to a song played last night to share w/ you girls (oh my gosh!)

finish a scrapbook page I was working on
work on tags to send to PO3 for 4x4 swap
run errands didn't have to go found the stuff in the closet.. good thing I looked first!!!
stop by school didn't have what was suppose to be there for me...

Forgot: must pick DD14 up from BB tryouts @ 6pm
work on getting costumes finalized

PN96: I will keep praying for your son. I always find them to be very hard.

Today:
- fill out address labels for AK swap
- sort items by person (right now they are by group)
- rewash dishes- we had ants in the kitchen (biting ones) and my DH might have gotten spray on the dishes that were draining so I need to wash them again
- empty dishwasher
- make binder clips for another baby
- see if I have paper for the pumpkins I want to make
- start cutting paper for pumkins
- cut out my pooh pp for the Disney binder clips
- finish the rest of the toopers for the Universal swap
- work on the tags for the Universal swap
- get DH to doctor at 1:30
- drive to LaBelle for dinner at 5:15

I was hoping to get to the PO and mail the AK swap this morning but I am guessing it won't happen.

PN96: to your DS. I can't imagine how hard this has to be for him to deal with.

Hmm, maybe you need a visit from the Grumpy Tinker? Wonder what time her doctor's appointment was for?

Have to wait until 9 to call for an appointment. They have weird hours. 9-6 MT, 8:30-5:30 WT, 7:00-1:00 F, with 1-2 off for lunch the other days. Hopefully Little Bit won't have to miss much school.

{{hugs}} to your DS Nan. I just can't imagine what that is like for a peer to be gone that way.

Deb, what are you doing to the fish tank?

Bad Mom. It's my fault that he is coughing like this. Flu shot + allergy shots in the same week = coughing at night. I can give him Dyselum (sp?) to help with coughing, but extra allergy medicine won't help. He has at least 3 more days of this. Thankfully his next allergy shot won't cause it reoccur.

This means I have to go redo my list and actually get some house work done.

Why didn't anyone tell you this before?? If it's a side effect of the two together you'd think someone would have told you...

They said they can't have them on the same day. I kinda figured that. But they didn't tell me it needed to be a full week in between. Apparently 6 days isn't long enough. Hopefully next year Little Bit will be one shot a month and it won't be so difficult.

I keep praying for your DS and the community. It sucks to have to go through this so early in life.

On a side note, this time last year my cousin's son who was 12 stole his older brother's car. The car crashed and he died instantly. Now there are a TON of family issues there, but it was so hard. I don't live near my family so I was not able to attend the funeral, but the rest of the family told me how hard it was. So I can understand what you are going through in a round-about-way. Lots of hugs to you.

AWM- that totally stinks, I hope he gets relief with the Delsym (sp?) - it totally helped DD when she had a nasty cough last year

AWM- Not a bad mom!! I would have thought 6 days was way enough! Would 1 more day have made such a difference? Was this his first flu shot? Just curious, b/c we have to sign a waiver at work that we aren't allergic to chicken or eggs...

PO3- Hope you have a better day today! DO NOT PUSH TOO HARD MISS!!! You will be flat out tomorrow for sure!!
