So, because of "Zombie Eye" I wasn't able to work that weekend. I was asked if I wanted to work today...I said sure! And now Winter Storm Watch...are you kidding me? All I've been saying is why can't it $n** during the week when I'm off, and not on the weekends when I work. I pick up a day during the week Figures...

We are supposed to have rain starting again today--expecting 3-4 inches between Tuesday and Wednesday. Yippee.

Here's my list for today:

1. Caffeinate!!
2. Drop off DS
3. Work
4. Pick up DS
5. Visit with kindergarten teacher
6. Order pics to get Proj 365 caught up
7. Clean, if I'm feeling better
8. Fold laundry
9. Supper?? Chicken or sghetti!
10. Watch "Jon & Kate" from Monday night!

We are also under the winter storm watch.. DH said at 8:30pm that we were getting sleety/ice stuff.... So far we have about an inch on the ground.... but we are suppose to get hit w/ another round about noon thru the night tonight... So, today I will be watching the ticker at the bottom of the screen to find out about delays or cancelations!

she sent him to another Classroom during Social Studies, to do make up work. So he missed SS. We've told her over and over not to pull him out of class to do other work. He can either stay after or bring it home. She just doesn't want anything to do with him and it's so frustrating. She does this to one kid each year, just shuts them out, all boys too.
DS has really changed this year, like he's given up on himself, it breaks my heart. If I had the know how I would teach him myself but I don't think I would do him any justice. I don't know enough about the core curriculum.

Over all we have been really really happy with all the teachers this year, even the mean ones in middle school but this one just, I don't know, she makes me see red.

I hate venting about teachers too. They usually get such a bad rap. Sorry, didn't mean to dump all that on you.

Awwww!! Our kids are just kids! It's so hard when they spend so much time with a teacher who might not like them for whatever reason! Hope your DH can get it resolved! And your DS can find his way again

Oh, Bamb, give my nephew a great big hug from me. It will be interesting to see how the principal will react to hearing the teacher sent him out of the class and missed SS.

I am having such a bad morning I forgot to do my to do list. DH is back to work, I thought I would have my hour of me time to read emails and catch up on the boards. DD got up cranky as a she beast an hour and a half early. The morning is not going well.

Keep my sanity.

BAMB, call, I'll tag team you. That is unacceptable to pull him out of a learning class to finish up work... I thought missing valuable teaching of the classroom curriculum was frowned upon... I thought that is why they don't like the kids to miss school.... Your teacher must be related to our schmuck here at the ms!

She is north of me near Dallas, I believe. She will be worse off than us. The ice isn't expected to stick so we will be fine, cold, but fine. It is currently 61 degrees, we will drop to the 40's by lunch and 30's by the time I get DD from school.

Unfortunately we can't switch teachers since we only have 1 for each grade until 6th grade, 6th, 7th, and 8th rotate between 5 teachers.
This is just this teachers personality, she does not like boys, and has said as much. And this year she has 14 of them and only 7 girls. She also can't stand kids that don't fit into a box. She about flipped when DS got glasses, she just couldn't handle it.
I talked to the principal this morning and we are all meeting Thursday right after school. I'll let y'all know how it goes.
