Get kiddos up and out the door.
Finish up kitchen. Floor needs a second scrubbing.
Clean oven before the floor.
Laundry has piled up.
Get packing lists ready for Surprise swap and make sure I have all the mailing supplies.

You already know you have no school?? How much of that stuff did you get?

I know!! We probably got about 1 -1.5 inches at my house (but I don't live in the county where I teach). Mom does, though, and in her area, they got about 3/4 of an inch. Part of the county is in the mountains, though--VERY rural--and they were calling for another 1-3 inches of stuff tonight. The temp didn't get above 26 today so it didn't melt at all!

You all need to come to Michigan. We get serious sn*w here. The poor dog can't do her business right now unless I shovel her a path. And we have had only 1 sn*w day so far this school year.

NOt sure what I really need to do today. DH is usually home on Wed., but had a meeting he needed to go to and went last night. So I guess I'll putter around a get some organizing done

I cant even imagine sn** days! And we dont have heat days!
Sue- has it already been a week since I talked to you? Banana was interested in the baking project. That and wildlife. No, you cannot bake for wildlife!

The biggie on the list today is the biopsy. "We just stick a fine needle in your neck 5 or6 times.......". Im such a wimp that it will seem like a jab!

Stress over biopsy
Get biopsy
Thats good enough!

Congratulations to PN96's DS!!!!!

My DS was going to audition for the spring musical after school yesterday, but he was asked if he would like to be Stage Manager and he accepted!!!!! It's a big responsibility and he has to make sure everything goes right during the performances and that everybody is doing their job. He's thrilled!!!

My day:

DS to school
Laundry
Put scout deposit together
Order scout t-shirts and sweatshirts
Start sorting school swap - make sure I have enough envelopes/boxes
Finish cleaning/organizing scrap room
Work on swaps

DIT-Very Cool for your DS. I was stage manager in high school, and it was so much fun!! But you are right, it was a huge responsibility.

No kidding, anything under 4" is considered a dusting in these parts.

My DH used to sn@wblow poop paths for our dogs. But get me in 114º degree heat and I am one nasty she beast.

Rita, you have every reason to be a wimp. That doesn't sound like fun. Treat yourself BIG after your biopsy. Hopefully they are giving you a topical to ease the discomfort. {hug}

Good job to our DIS kids. Stage manager, tournament plays, this auntie is proud of them all. Heck, I am happy when they are doing well in school and happy in everyday life.

Try to forget it is 6º outside.
Bring in two loads of wood - Done
Stoke up woodstove - Done
Make lunches - Done
Write in DD's communication log - Done
Work
Maybe out to lunch with a work partner.
Tackle Mt. Washmore when I get home.
Balance checkbook and start thinking about paying bills.

I know, I know!! We hardly ever have sn*w, so anything is worth closing over!! The thing is, our schedule is arranged to where we have 13 snow days built in--we work over each day so that we have 13 that can be taken. If we don't take them, we don't get them. For the past 2-3 years, we didn't take any. So, this year, I'm kind of glad we're taking some of them!!

Way to go, Nan's DS & DIT's DS!!! That's awesome!!!
