The "Great Big To Do List" is something I was thinking about this weekend. There are LOTS of projects around here, big and small, that I want to work on. I do better getting things done if I can check them off a list:)....so I am going to make the GBTDL and try to work on at least one project every day. Some of them will be small (like cleaning out a cabinet)that I can do in a few minutes, others will take longer (cleaning up the yard) but if they're on the list I will at least get started on them.....and I usually finish what I start:).

Uhm....wasn't this supposed to be, you know, like THREE things??
You all are giving me a complex. Not that it is hard to do. :rotfl2:

I need to pick up milk & bread. DONE
Continue on the laundry. WORKING
Get ready to swap out winter clothes and bring in summer clothes.
Finish Complete Page swap.
Basic running though the house and putting things back where they really belong.

I put all the trivial things done so I feel better when one of the major things don't get accomplished... LOL

It sounds horrible but alot of this I have done before DD gets on the bus in the morning at 8:10AM... or of course they are the practices which results in just me driving, sitting on my butt and waiting for the child to come to the van!

Well, it's at least 3 things...and I know what you mean... I usually have a complex too :rotfl2:

I called out all weekend, hope I still have a job next weekend... Guess I'll find out when I get my fingerprints done and drop them off on Wednesday :confused3

I just sat on the sofa all weekend and worked on a special project ;) I didn't get in my crap room to work on swaps. I am now the the joke of the family... "Is that your new spot mom?" They aren't used to me just sitting and watching on demand movies. But, compared to last week though, I can say I'm finally feeling better, as long as I don't push myself too much...like too many steps... but wasn't my family nice to bring the laundry down for me to do  Anyway, the xray didn't show anything, so it's just asthma, but the worst case I've ever had.

I stay much more on task when I do this list.

I copy and paste it into a word doc and take it around with me through the house and on errands.

I hope everyone starts feeling better soon!

1- make bed done... I spent 20 minutes wrestling with the duvet cover.
2- unload dishwasher and reload
3- clean bedroom done
4- straighten living room
5- have DH decide when he is getting DS's bday pressie
6- I'd like to scrap....hmmmmm
7- laundry getting really close to being finished
8- pray for DH's job

Hope everyone feels better soon........I've been under the weather too the last 2 weeks with a weird stomach viral thing.....Doc did some lab test, etc and still waiting to hear back, but am feeling SOOOOOOO much better the last couple of days that I'm actually getting stuff done.

Thanks for the prayers and pixie dust. DH is horribly unhappy in his job- wants to quit but needs to find a new job first. He is worried about providing for his family- just lots of stress! He has some leads but each morning he is just so unhappy. It breaks me heart!

We've been there before.. .DH is unhappy at times..but he has a job now that lets him work from home at times and he likes it better that way.. they set him off.. he works from home.. he sets me off: he goes back to the office!:rotfl:

In all seriousness.. DH was in that boat several years ago... At least your DH is not jumping before he has something else in line... just keep being supportive and keep showing him that the kids love Daddy for the job he does so well already... loving and providing for them!!!! Maybe make some cards w/ the kids that tell daddy how much they love him... :) I'm sure you all already show him alot of support.. maybe something he doesn't expect will brighten his day!!
