Ok so my FMIL is throwing us a party when we get back from our cruise wedding. we are trying to figure out how to word the invite does anyone have any suggestions??

Hmm, how fancy is the at home reception going to be?

If it is going to be formal, you can go with the traditional formal invite:

requests the pleasure of your company
at a (dinner) reception in honor of
[Mr. and Mrs. Your Married Name]
Day, the date of Month
at time o'clock (in the afternoon/evening)
Location Name
City, State

Thanks for these!!! My at home reception is not until June of '09, but I was already wondering how the heck to work the invites! I like what both of you came up with! At least I have a starting point now for the wording!
