At BWV, do you book a Standard, BW or Pool Garden View

Following up on my neighbor (2 times over) Lexxiefern's thought provoking discussion, I figured I'd post a poll.

Multiple Responses are permitted.

I checked off SV and Preferred-Pool & Garden view. Though when we got the Preferred Garden view, it was what was available and before they split the views.

Now if your poll said what type of view would we mostly book in the future....then it would just have been the SV.

We usually go for the Std view... If its not available, then the next time we'll try for the BW view...

(And yes... We have had the RED building view before... We tried for the standard, but could only get the preferred...)

Last December, we got extremely lucky and got upgraded at BWV... We had booked a 2BR-Standard, but once we arrived, we had a view of Keister Coaster and Leaping Libations...

Usually, the view does not mean all that much to us, unless we are at VB, and want a view of the ocean...

I had standard view, one bedroom reserved. But, when I had to change to a studio, only the preferred was open. But, I will usually be looking for the standard.

Our Home is BCV's and usually ask for standard view wherever we stay. When the BCV's were booked we were offered a Boardwalk View for our next stay so we took it. No telling if we will ever get a chance again with no hassle. Between the parks, pool and shopping we tend to spend little time in our rooms so a standard view is fine with us.

I book and love all of them. It depends on many factors which one we choose: what is available, the makeup/purpose of the trip, the amount of pts we want to spend etc. You can put us anywhere at BWV and we are basically happy but we do have our favorites and my favorite villas will always be the boardwalk view villas. Do we always book them? No, but I will admit since the new booking policies regarding boardwalk view villas, that 90% of the time one is available, I will book it.

I voted for BW view, since that is what I have been booking. But like BWVDee, I really am happy anywhere at BWV. And I will book anything that is available (if it came down to that - but I have been using the 11 month window, so not an issue).

Having said that the two times we have stayed at BWV - room #5095 - end of hall, awesome view of community quiet pool, canal and towards TOT! Room #5047 - Grand Villa - one side towards Village Green and balance over Crescent Lake/Boardwalk being on top of the Green Door store

I booked Std view this spring to save points. In the fall I booked a studio BW view. Spring 2005 I am going for a BW view, 2 bd room. Taking friends who have never been and would love to have the BW view for them.

I do not think it will not matter to me in the future which view I get. But if I am spending points on the view, I would rather have BW view.

I voted pool/garden view, in the hopes that maybe I'll get a village green view. I know that this is unlikley, but I think I would rather have a pool or garden view anyway, even if I didn't get the village green. I don't know why the BW view doesn't really appeal to me as much. I think, being from NJ, and being really used to going to the boardwalks at the shore, a garden or pool view just sounds more vacation-like to me.
