staying in studio woods view, great location to see illuminations. Great service from all staff, they really do go that extra mile for guests. At least that's my experience..

super hot today

one thing I learned today:
normally we go to wal-mart to do all shopping (we eat in room usually). Today I went to the Target store about 2 minutes further and what a difference.

I have to say no price difference (or better price) and so much cleaner and more stock.

So much better selection for disney merchandise and just a different type of shopping experience. Even my dh who normally shops at wal-mart, really noticed the difference

example: aquafina 24 bottles (useless bottles) $4.98 (supposedly good deal)

target: 24 bottles $2.99 store brand

and aquafina tastes terrible

consider a trip to target instead of the wal-mart, it's a good way to start your holiday.

What floor are you on? We will be staying in a 2 bedroom in Jan. 2011 with the grandkids, DD & SIL. Sure hope it doesn't get as cold as it did this past January!!

We usually shop at Walmart also - will need to give Target a try. Where exactly is it located?

Enjoy your vacation, we usually stop at one of the grocery stores and never thought to hit Wal-Mart or Target.

We eat in the room a lot too, mostly breakfast and then some lunch and snack foods. A few quick dinners on the nights we decide to do extra magic hours or something. We buy bananas, fruit, sandwich meat, a few frozen dinners (pizzas), nothing too fancy, but it really works for us. Breakfast is the best as we can get a good meal in and hit the parks ready to go.

Have a great trip - it's 90's here in upstate NY, can't imagine Florida right now!

I will be leaving for BCV in 3 weeks for my Sister Trip :cool1::cool1:
I haven't stayed in a 2 br there in a long time. The only request I made was a pool view. I got to thinking that maybe the 2 br with 2 queens are located in a certain area?Does any one no if I should put in a different request that would be better. Thanks :lovestruc

I would like to know where this is also. Can you get lunchmeat there? If so I guess it would be prepackaged rather that deli sliced correct?

I'll post address when I find receipt, you can google address, but really close drive. And full grocery section. Dh drove back there tonight for groceries ( well beer actually). Either way, if you drive 2 extra minutes makes no difference really.

room is on 4th floor

just wanted to post this morning mk early entry dd and I were first to ride space mountain. actually no line up at all till after 10, really was not busy today.

Otherwise, this was pool day. Tomorrow is typhoon lagoon.

Really very hot here, I don't know how people manage the parks mid day with little children. We strictly are in parks early morning and some evening. Walking to epcot is great.

If you go to parkinfo2go you will see a layout of the floors of BCV. Most of the 2 BR 2 QU rooms seem to either have a woods or courtyard view. There are a few pool view rooms on the 3rd floor.

Does Target have a Disney souvenir section like at Walmart? I love buying t-shirts and stuff at Walmart.

is it the target across from the publix shopping plaza? i think i know which one you mean, the one off of 192.

The Target on 192 is the one we always go to. We shopped at the Publix nearby once and it was dirty and old. The Target was much better.

Note to previous poster, there is a deli and you can buy hnad sliced meats and cheeses. I think the deli closes down about 9 pm.

I never stopped at the WalMart but can recommend the Target very highly.

We also went to the one near AK once, also very clean and fairly new.

The is a newer super Target out the back way to the toll road and I don't think it's any further than WM from BCV or BWV. Both would WM at 535 & ST have a small toll for the preferred route.

Not sure which Target the OP used, but here's a link to a Google Map I have of places we sometimes shop/dine when we are in Orlando. There are several Targets on there - my favorite is the one on 192 just off 535.

Is there a Disney souvenir section - shirts, keychains, etc. in Target?

Thanks Dean, that is the correct one. It was a Super Target. Big disney selection, I just found the wal-mart crazy and hectic compared to the Target store.

receipt says Kissimmee Target
