Hi everyone! Just checking in from grand villa 601 at Aulani! We are in villas 601, 602, 603 and 608. Every room is gorgeous but we have had issues with the tv's, phones and refrigerator working.

The cabanas are well worth the money and I'm so glad we got them because the resort is supposed to be REALLY crowded this weekend. We have cabanas 3 and 4 all week in the Ka Maka Landing area, which is perfect for us with the kids and has a nice ocean view.

We had dinner at Roy's last night and it was amazing. Heading to Sea Life Park today to swim with dolphins.

I'm happy to answer any questions but our trip has been fantastic so far!

Oh yay! Have a wonderful trip!!

Was wondering what drinks you can get with the refillable mugs besides soda? I've heard coffee? Is there juice/lemonade/unsweetened ice tea? Thanks!

You were so smart to get the cabanas near the Ka Maka Landing, perfect for the views. I loved looking out between the spaces from the pool to the ocean.
Have you done the vow renewal yet? I am sure it will fabulous, cant wait to see some pics.
Have a blast...

What's the dress code for Roy's? I've been before, but it's been quite a few years, and I can't really remember

Wow have fun!
Do you know what's the crowd level at the resort now? We are heading there on Tuesday! dd keeps saying Can't wait can't wait :flower1:

We were at Roy's on Sunday night. The dress code seemed to be similar to Ama Ama, shirts with collars, slacks or capris. We chose to sit outside and we're happy that we did. The inside dining area is quite loud with a bit of an echo.

We wore maxi dresses and collared shirts. It isn't formal but I wouldn't go on board shorts and flip flops. Somewhere in between.

Our dinner was in the bridge bar lanai on Thursday night and it was AMAZING. The portions are huge and the service was really good.

The resort is quite crowded this weekend because of the children's music and film festival. We were told it should begin to quiet down again tonight.

Wow. Two cabanas every day for a week?! Heaven. That sounds so fantastic.

Yes! We had a group of 19, so it was really a necessity to have the space to hang out - and boy did those cabanas ever get used! We put those waitresses to work too LOL. Aulani was nice enough to grant our request to stay in the same cabanas April 28-May 5, so we had cabanas 3 and 4 and Ka Maka Landing every day. It was nice, because we kept the divider open in the middle of the two, so it was just one big cabana :)

Here's a photo of the view from our balcony, grand villa 601. Our group also had ocean view two-bedroom villas in 602 and 608; and an island gardens view two-bedroom villa in 603. Will share more photos later...we just got home last night.

Here's the fruit plate you get in the cabanas every day. They also bring trays of desserts later in the day.

The tables and the aisle from our vow renewal, at Ama Ama patio. Also a photo of my bouquet with a hidden Mickey!

Cute little treat we received from Ama Ama after our breakfast (which was DELICIOUS, by the way).

My niece and daughter both had the Keikiwahine package done at Laniwai - they did a great job, and Ashlee is the best stylist there (she also did my hair and makeup for our vow renewal)! She's so friendly and funny , she is like a cartoon character.

OH WOW Regan! The view from your balcony was stunning. The vow renewal set up is incredible, I just love the way they draped the cloth over the main area. The girls are so cute, I am not sure which one is the one smiling at the camera but the sheer joy is so sweet and they did a gorgeous job on the hair etc. Is there anything you might have arranged differently with the vow renewal and travelling with so many people or did it all go as you had planned? I know you told me you used a great planner so I am sure that helped. CONGRATULATIONS on you anniversary and vow renewal!

Thank you!!!

I have to say, the service at Aulani was PERFECT. They made every little detail of every aspect of our trip was perfect. They even knew who we were whenever we walked into any part of the resort - restaurants, spa, Rainbow Reef, etc. Our Aulani planner Candice was amazing, and we able to get my dress steamed in record time and got us a 3pm checkout on all of our villas!

I couldn't ask for more. The people there were so nice and incredibly helpful. I'm going to write a full trip report once I've unpacked and recovered.
