Do you eat lunch?Would RFC be a good choice for DW and I no children?Or do have a suggestion on a favorite you enjoy? We are looking for something more than sandwich's and fries. Thanks in advance for your tips and information.:sunny:  :teeth:

Because we usually have breakfast at Donald's Breakfastosaurus we don't usually have lunch until mid afternoon. Either RFC or Flame Tree BBQ. Hope this helps?

We've eaten at RFC and its worth a shot. The motif inside is fun to look at and they do have a large menu. However sometimes our service is great and other times it has not been.

We really enjoy Flame Tree BBQ though for lunch! We like their food. They serve baked beans and corn as sides which is a nice change from fries and chips! The outside seating in the shaded by the water is really nice and quite relaxing. We go here now instead of RFC. :)

I would eat at Flame Tree BBQ. We love it there. Our experiences at RFC are horrible. I think I would only recommend it to an enemy.

we just got back yesterday, and on the day we went to AK we ate at RFC,it was only DH and I and we loved it.we have never had a bad experience or meal at either of the RFC at Disney.

We always eat at RFC but sit at the bar - the service is always quick and pleasant.

Enjoy!!!

Tusker house has some wonderful menu items. We get our lunch then walk outside and sit at the Dawa Bar. You can get a bottle of Safari Amber beer or a glass of wine up at the bar and relax for lunch. There are often entertainers near by who play african music.

You'll be transported!

I have to agree with Harambe, and vote for Tuskers! We love this place! Flametree BBQ can be good too, but I have to say that on our recent trip (we just got back this past Wed), my DH did not like his rib plate there...the ribs were not flavorful or tender and his corn was soggy. I did love my BBQ chicken salad though!

Being from SC, I am a BIG BBQ person -very picky when it comes to pulled pork (it's nearly impossible to find edible BBQ ANYWHERE in FL)... anyhow, Flame Tree is one of my favorites.
On Friday I had a nice salad at Tusker House in Africa. It's pretty simple: mixed greens, fresh tomato and grilled chicken breast with a vinagarette dressing and a large wedge of foccacia bread. The portion was quite large (the size of a small mixing bowl with about a half of a fist-sized tomato and nearly a whole breast of chicken). If you decide to eat inside DAK, REMEMBER: get a "Meal Plus" certificate! For $12 you get any counter service entree with a large drink Plus a bottled drink Plus an ice cream cone/bar -or- a box of popcorn.
You get a day's worth of munching at DAK for about the same price as just an entree and a large drink.
Meal Plus is available for children as well, but the service is only offered at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
