Well, after my TA jumped through hoops, probably juggled fire batons and called in MANY favors from DCL, I've secured a spot on the July 9, 2005 West Coast sailing. I'm booked in a Category 6 guarantee, so I'm of course nervous. I've always booked the same stateroom, and I'm afraid I'm going to get a bad room. I know, there are no bad rooms on DCL, but with little ones, I'd really like to avoid a metal veranda and a connecting room. Things I'm afraid I'll end up with. Now, I'm of course secretly hoping for an upgrade to a Cat 1, but I know that's not going to happen!!!! I'm totally happy with the Cat 6, since all I really want is a balcony.... Can someone reassure me we did the right thing, since this was the only way to get on this sailing.
