Assuming these resorts are options when we decide to go back... Which one?

Many of my trips lately have been just my sister and I.

We've stayed at all of the Value resorts, Coronado Springs, Port Orleans Riverside, and Contemporary Resort.

We've been thinking about whether we should go with what we know or choose something new for our first trip back since Covid.

Pop Century has always been our go to.

We were also considering a family suite at Music for the 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette. It may seem silly since we are only 2 people but I believe most if not all of those rooms are updated with murphy beds (vs pull outs) and we think it could be nice to spread out and feel more "DVC-ish on a budget" if that makes sense.

We have always wanted to stay at Polynesian and we'd just go with a standard view room. Since staying at Contemporary with that amazing theme park view I just don't see a higher category offering as much bang for our buck at Poly.

My sister has always wanted to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge in a Savanna view. I'm not opposed since it would be something different.

So I guess what I'm asking is should we stick to what we know we like and is the cheapest option at POP?, Should we try Music for the 2 bathrooms without costing $900+ per night?, Should we stay at Contemporary again because wow that view!?, or do we try something completely different and try Poly or AKL?

How long will you be staying? Is a split stay between POP and AKL a possibility? A little taste of both worlds.

TBH, I would want that kitchenette if I was staying for a week or longer. And two bathrooms? Yes, please! So if a split stay is off the table, my vote would be DVC light at ASMu.

CR isn’t my taste, even with that great theme park view. So it wouldn’t be a consideration for me, but I understand the appeal to some. it just not worthy of spending the big bucks for me.

We tend to go on shorter trips which are more theme park focused rather than resort focused. (We realize that our tour style makes it less practical to spend the money for mod/deluxe accommodations but we do enjoy experiencing new resorts/rooms)

We shy away from split stay because we rather not have to pack up and move while also trying to spend time in the parks. Maybe if we were to add a day onto the end just to purely relax we'd consider it.

I feel like the 2 bathrooms would be awesome for getting ready for the parks in the morning. :)

Contemporary was more of a bucket list resort.
We loved the view and the proximity to MK but did not enjoy the noise from Chef Mickey's and those sinks... they really are as bad as people say.
