In relation to the buses here, is the walk to the Homerun buildings the longest?? We almost booked in the preferred Surf's up building, but heard good things about the baseball pool, and thought it sounded great, but after walking all day in the parks, I am thinking I want a close room to the busses. Thanks.

Yes, the walk to the "Homerun buildings" is exhausting (especially if you like to constantly refill your mug:rolleyes1 ). This past summer we booked standard but when we checked in they handed us room keys to 2 rooms in Surf's Up. The walk was less than a minute and certainly nice after a long day in the parks. My only complaint would be the obnoxious teenagers swimming in the pool at all hours of the night.

Wow PrincessTiff same thing happened to us in Nov 06. We booked Standard room and were upgraded to Surf's Up building, very nice I must say. I asked the CM when I checked in how'd we get that, she said it was because we booked so far in advance, I think I booked in March. In my honest opinion the Tennis Building was a little far, we had friends staying in that bldg, far but extra quiet. It was quiet all around the resort until the day after Thanksgiving when LSU was playing, lots of us LSU fans were there....LOL!!

here is a map

see where there is a J on the map - there is another door here. So it will at least save you going in the same entrance.

was there for 2 days before I found that door.

the walk is not long.

now for a long walk try

try at CBR trindad south building 39 to their food court - now that is a long walk...

or at the Polyn - walking from Tahiti to the food court

believe me all star is not a long walk.

now if you are there for one of the baseball games - then baseball is better. the mears bus will stop here (not at the main bus stop) to take the players to the game.

Wow Spiceycat...looking at the map I guess Tennis Bldg wasn't so far but it sure seemed like it after a long day in the parks....LOL!!!

Thanks everybody!! How would I know if there are baseball games going on?? This board moves fast!!
