I am in charge of the Hospitality Tent for a large marching band competition. Our school/band is hosting over 22 bands. The Hospitality tent will serve a buffet to the band directors, assistants and bus drivers. I am thinking close to 200 people.
I have never been to a marching band hospitality room and have no idea what to serve. Of course this has to be done on a budget. The main course, per se, will be BBQ pork served with slaw, beans and rolls. Other items I'm considering are: veggie tray, fruit tray, chips w/dips......what other items do you suggest?
We are serving sweet tea, coffee, hot chocolate and water. Also our dessert table with have a large sheet cake.
Thanks in advance.

It might be wise to have some other option for those who don't eat pork products. One of my high school friends was Jewish and many times she couldn't eat at events because there were no Kosher options.
