prayers and pixie dust needed

I don't know how many of you are affected by the curren Aspen Fire that is raging in the mountains surrounding Tucson, AZ by knowing family or friends, but as one who lives here, it is horrible. from my home, I can smell the smoke all the time, and there are big pieces of ash in my backyard. currently it is at 70,000 acres and have burned 300+ homes, just absolutely devastating. it destroyed an entire town with cabins and is coming down the mountains. I just wanted to ask you all to try your hardest and spread some prayers and some disney magic to the people involved and the firefighters. we all know they need it!!!

I grew up in Tucson so have been following the fire closely. I remember many summer days spent on Mt. Lemmon and at Summerhaven.

Also my family still lives in Tucson. In fact my parents live in the Ventana Canyon area and are just south of the evacuated area. I've been pretty scared for them altho it seems that the evacuation of Ventana Canyon is over. My parents and brother who lives in the Ventana Canyon area said they can see and smell the fire.

I've been sending PD for the whole Tucson area. This whole fire is a bit too close to home for me.

Prayers and pixie dust going out to you and all the folks in Arizona.
When I was visiting my folks two weeks ago in New Mexico, we were getting smoke from the Arizona fires, just west of Santa Fe!

I hadn't heard about this (of course, I'm also not following news much). Sorry to hear it. Summer fires are horrible. I'll keep the situation in my prayers.
