ASMusic or Pop?? HELP!!

We have narrowed it down to these two values for a quick trip in Jan.


Question#1 How spread out are these two resorts?
Please help me decide. We would not do a preferred
location. We are on a budget trip. We have stayed at
two moderates that are spread out (POR AB#14) and
(CB Aruba) We were fine at these resorts

Question#2 Are the pools heated?

Question #3 How is the bus transportation? We have always used
Disney transportation and have never had any problems.

Pop and ASMu are my favorite Values. Pop feels more celebratory and *very* Disney, whereas ASMu is quieter (some say the quietest Value resort) and the icons have more to do with music in general than any particular Disney characters (exceptions being the Three Amigos and the Little Mermaid at the pools).

I've found busing to be a little better at Pop than at ASMu, where buses are often shared among all three of the All Stars. As far as the spread-out feeling, I felt like I walked forever at POR, much more than at either of the Values. I can't remember if the pools are heated, though - sorry!

Either way, I'm sure you'll have a great time.

all stars is the best pick..pop is way too big and noisie...bues suck...and the food court is packed all the time ...its 4 floors so elevator wait is big time in the mornong from the maids useing them...so i would take all stars...we stayed at all of them many times and we love all stars...but thats us others ahave thier own choices so its up to you..

We have stayed at the AStars and POP. We just went in Jan 2006 and we leave in 22 days for another 8 day trip. POP is quiet and the only time we waited on a bus was after the fireworks show at MK. Every other time, we got right on.

We don't go to WDW during peak times....too many people and too many lines. That's no fun for a vacation!

You will find that January is a great time to go.

The pools are heated at POP and the walking distance from the farthest building would be no more than 5 minutes. Try to stay right off of the 90s parking lot - in the 90s building - and it is a 2 minute walk across the parking lot to the bus stop. That is not a preferred location, but it has easy access to the buses.
