ASMu to Poly to AK ?

The cast: Me, DW, DS (20 months), DSis, DBiL, DNiece (21 months)

We're staying at ASMu on arrival night (Saturday) in a suite, then transferring to Poly for five nights for Free Dining. We have to check in at Poly on Sunday morning to get our park tickets before we go to AK, but I want to get there before opening.

Can we:
1) Split up, with DBiL and I checking in at Poly, and our wives taking the kids to AK, with us busing over to meet them? Or do we all need to be there for check-in for Free Dining?
2) If we all taxi over to Poly, how early do buses start running from Poly to AK, and how long would it take to get there first thing in the morning? Would TTC be a better departure point?

I don't know what the policy is for the free dining checkin, but I think it'd be better to be "safe than sorry" and have everyone there. That said, I'd get your luggage moved from AsMu to the Poly thru bell services, packing a bag for the day of anything you might need (you can always leave that with bell sevices at the Poly) and take a taxi over. Once you're checked in, grab a bus for AK. I don't know an exact time for busses - my guess is an hour before park opening???
