ASMu thefts?

We just returned from all star music and had NO issues with anything. We did put our i-pods in the safe as well as our keys to our car etc. Our cameras we had with us and our computer was in a back pack . No one bothered any of our stuff. The only day I worried was the day we went to blizzard beach and didn't take our cameras. We had no problems though. Housekeeping was great and cleaned our rooms ,left extra supplies and all . I loved the resort this tiem with the suite adn will return with no hesitation .

What animals were making noise ?? We only saw rabbits ,frogs and a few lizards yes there are bugs at night that make noise but they are not loud enough to keep anyone awake that is for sure. And you are in FLORIDA there are noisey bugs there !! I think these people were looking for GF status at an all star.

I have stayed at ASM in 2004 had no problems w/housekeeping or anything being stolen. Certainly didn't hear no animals. And at the same time we do use the room safe as well as locking items in our suitcase that we consider of value to us. We do this no matter where we travel to, Disney or wherever. OP, I hope your next on property stay is better.

Many many guest claim things are stolen, for the single reason that they are trying to put one over on the hotel and/or insurance company.

that is why there are so many laws that Innkeepers (ie hotel chains) must follow. they do it to avoid liability. Not saying folks here do it, of course

But as a hotel manager for 20 years, I honestly can say that we had maybe 3employees that were caught stealing. but at the same time, I have had over 25 guests that were doing things not above the boards and were trying to scam people.
